I decided to purchase the Aqara FP1 Presence Sensor to address a common issue in my home: lights being left on unnecessarily and ensuring lights turn on when someone enters a room with low natural light. I use a Philips Hue motion sensor to measure light levels, which complements the FP1 perfectly. Installation and Setup The installation process was straightforward and hassle-free. Pairing the FP1 with Home Assistant was a breeze, and I had it up and running in no time. The instructions were clear, and the magnetic base made it easy to place the sensor in the optimal position. Integration and Performance The integration with my existing smart home setup has been seamless. The FP1 works flawlessly with Home Assistant, and since I started using it, my lights come on and go off exactly as needed. This has significantly improved the efficiency of my home automation, ensuring that lights are only on when necessary. Since installing and setting up some automations in Node Red this hasn't skipped a beat. Always works. Just makes sure you have a decent Zigbee mesh and you should have no issues at all.

Works that's really all I can say mine is connected to home assistant through mqtt

Reports of it disconnecting: Fix using Hubitat is to install the Aqara P1 motion sensor, from package manager, manually Zigbee pair nearby hub (within 1 m) with avoiding repeaters (C8), directly after doing a rebuild Zigbee network TWICE which allows a better pairing operation , also after the first pairing , save then do a re-pairing operation again, the same device will be found and further data about the sensor will have been added, the device will have been recognised and the driver loaded. If the attributes like occupancy /motion show and shows ONLINE for longer than a few minutes, then you have probably succeeded in pairing fully to Hubitat, if not re-do the process above as it may take a couple of attempts depending on the interference from surrounding equipment. I now have 3 of them and found them very good for medium sized rooms lounge/kitchen/dining etc to keep lights on when occupied. I also dabbled with HomeAssistant and put it on a raspi-pi and used a Sonoff USB dongle plus with co-ordinator software installed, if it has been set to a router, it can be easily flashed back to co-ordinator-search for sonoff website and online flasher (which is what i had to do) Everything I have tried on HA just pairs instantly, and in the process of moving some of my problematic Zigbee devices to it. Works as expected with ''their'' hub and usually needs updating from 0026>0029 which cant be done with other platforms that i know of 'yet'

When they work they’re great. However I’ve bought two and both kept disconnecting and had to be reset. I’ve returned both of them now

Much simpler to use than the FP2 but also lacks the extras such as the light meter and the ability to set zones. We have ours set up in the utility room where we just want lights turned on. Works really quickly if paired with an Aqara light switch.

Ancak dediğim gibi, AI modu Zigbee2MQTT ile gelmiyor (doğal olarak). Arkadaşım da aynı cihazı kullanıyor. Örneğin, onda hareket eden perdeye ve çamaşır makinesine nadiren de olsa tepki vermiş. Şimdi, misafir gelince kapıdaki kamera algılıyor ve evi misafir moduna geçiriyor. Bu modda tüm FP1'lere elektrik gidiyor ve aktif hale geliyor. Böylece evde kim olursa olsun, ışıklar otomatik olarak çalışıyor. Matter veya Matter destekleyen hub'lar artık yaygınlaştı. Bu cihazı istediğiniz yerde kullanabilirsiniz. J'ai acheté ce capteur de présence pour allumer et éteindre la lumière quand j'étais dans le bureau ou dans le salon. Il fait très bien son travail il est reconnu sur Home assistant sans aucun problème le seul petit bémol c'est le câble USB qui doit être branché mais à part ça il fonctionne très bien.

Kabelgebunden und daher nicht so flexibel positionierter. Aber die Erkennung ist schnell und zuverlässig. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis passt. Ich nutze das Gerät mit Apple HomeKit und kann es empfehlen.

HA＋z2mで運用しています。先日のアプデでAI空間認識含めフルサポートされました。 GOOD ・検出/クリアが早く正確 ・ゴースト検出がない ・(感度:高で)静止してもクリアされない ・検出距離がZY-M100等に比べ正確 BAD ・直付ケーブルのため長さ調節が面倒 ・価格がやや高い ・検出距離の更新が高速なため、ちょこまか動く場合にzigbee通信を圧迫しないか心配 上記BADに目を瞑れば、zigbeeミリ波センサーとしては完成形と言えるレベルだと思います。
