Yasutomo NP56J Nori Paste, 10-Ounce , White

I was very pleased with this product it did what I wanted, it required very little glue, which meant very low risk of damage to my book. A paper corner on my book’s cover was peeling up and I used this to glue down that corner. It was very easy to work with required only a very tiny amount and did not damage the surrounding areas. The brushes I ordered to help with the application had not arrived, so I applied it using only my hands, and I found the results very agreeable, really easy to work with long cure time easy to clean up. There was a rubbery skin over the top as other users had complained , however this was not a problem. I just extracted the glue from below and it worked perfectly. Store it in the refrigerator after opening to prolong usable life. The manufacturer says it can be reconstituted with water however, I did not have to do that and given little glue is required. I may not ever use enough of this jar to have to experiment with that. II’m glad I learned about this product.

Fabulous for archival collage

This paste is perfect for use in collage and book making purposes. I just scrape it onto the paper for a thin coating and it hold perfectly without buckling or air bubbles. Just be sure to use a very thin smooth layer. It dries quickly and is pretty much odor free.

The media could not be loaded. I painted this 15x22 inch painting of a deer in my art class and left it for my instructor to demonstrate how to remove a painting from the board when you staple it instead of tape the edges. She ended up tearing my painting and when I returned she had it laid out for display. When I looked at it I had no idea it had been torn. Then she told me it had been torn and showed me a bottle of this that she used to repair it. I ordered it that day because has she not told me, I would not have known for a long time. Especially not just looking at it. I had to flip it over to see where the damage was caused. I keep this handy just in case because mistakes happen. I'm not even mad that she tore it because I've torn things before and just had to throw them out so I really learned a lot with her mistake.

The container was missing the cover. The content is in a ball and not usable. What is usable is 1/3 of the jar size. Why can’t I get refunded?

I was absolutely loving this paste -- it was exactly what I needed, but the fragrance, which seemed light at first, became too much to take (I am highly sensitive to fragrance). I still give it four stars, because it is a wonderful product otherwise.

If you want a paste that does not dry immediately and gives you time to adjust papar being pasted. This is it. It is water soluble so the tiniest bit of water will soften the paste for removal. As a quick repair I have tried several kinds paste AND glue and none would reattack loose wall paper. With a little water added to this paste (mix well) I spread a layer over the back of the paper and applied to the wall as you would any other wall paper. That was six weeks ago. None of it has come loose. All the other glues lasted a couple days. I have not had to remove any of the paper for any reason so do not know.if there are any problems. Remember the paste is water soluble. That should make it easy to release the paper.
