I admit I was drawn to the various animal sounds having previously owned a similar plug in style doorbell with lots of musical chimes, especially the sheep baaing, it just makes us laugh each time we hear it. The doorbell does have lots of other chimes too though, including traditional doorbell ding dong styles plus Christmas ones. It has five sound levels including silent, handy if you have anyone working nights in your home, the plug in part flashes a bright green light to alert you if someone presses the doorbell. The loudest level is definitely louder than my previous doorbell. The doorbell is neat with a bell design on the front in green, our previous one was often ignored by couriers as they didn’t recognise it as a doorbell but this one is more obvious. It lights up too when pressed, though the plug in chime can be heard from the outside, plugged in the hall set on the loudest. If I have a negative thought on it, I guess I’d say some of the chimes are a bit short and some too long (standing at the door trying to talk to the caller whilst the doorbell is still playing its song does feel a bit like a comedy sketch) but there are so many chimes there is plenty to chose from. I haven’t tried it plugged in any further than about thirty foot away from the front door so can’t say for distance. I didn’t find it any issue with a double wall plug either plugged in next to my coffee machine in the kitchen as some have mentioned, though plugged into an extension is, as extensions are narrower, though sticking on a square multi plug into the extension solves that issue. I like the fact it remembers the last chime you chose even if you unplug it, my previous one didn’t, nothing more annoying than having to trawl through 52 chimes to find it to match the other one (though you can choose different ones of course if they’re not within earshot of one another). The doorbell comes with a strong sticky pad so no need to screw it to the door or doorframe, though it comes supplied with them if you prefer, we have ours stuck on our white double glazed front door, it comes with a round flat battery. All in all a good quality door bell that I hope will last longer than it’s 24 month guarantee (my previous plug in doorbell lasted two and half years)

I bought this to replace my old wireless door bell which had always been unreliable as it would go off when ever a signal from anything wireless nearby when off.It comes with two plug in bells so you need spare sockets to plug these into. It has multiple ring tones and volume is good.

Great product! Easy to install and looks aesthetically pleasing also. We got the loft converted and kept missing delivery! This has been great! Can be upstairs with no worries about missing anything, getting downstairs in time is a whole different issue. Thank you guys! We just use the normal doorbell sound. It would be helpful if the plug was a little smaller, it difficult to utilise other sockets.

So easy. Pick from goodness knows how many chimes (we only got as far as the horse whinnying to know that this was the one!), stick bell to door post, plug in the chimes and away you go. Recommended. Anyone who has suffered (as we had) with bells that ran out of battery in a matter of weeks, that lost connection with the bell push and all that nonsense need actually look no further.

Wanted to replace an old wired doorbell, this hits the spot, so easy to install and has been working now for a number of months with no problems, the second ringer is plugged in by my patio doors and we just need to turn on the power so we can hear a ring when we are in the garden.

All worked as sold - APART FROM THE RANGE - 85 FEET and it stopped working, just one front door solid softwood and a brick wall separating the transmitter from the receiver.

Extremely easy to fit. A lot of tunes many of which would never get used I'm sure but fun deciding nevertheless. I wanted the dog woof-song but wifey was having none of it. A lot of classical tunes that go on a bit long. The farm animals are a laugh.I think having two receivers is probably useful.Good quality - recommended.

I have 1reciever about 50feet from the transmitter that works fine and another one upstairs just above the first receiver, Assuming the signal can go through wooden doors the upstairs receiver is about 250 feet away from the transmitter and doesn't do anything so i'm relying on 1 transmitter that is downstairs
