Excellent accessory
Provides a firmer, more flexible grip for the camera, and allows full use of the focus and shutter release through the trigger.

Fits the D610
I bought this for my video rig to save having to fumble for the button on the camera. This is really handy for normal shooting even just fitted to the camera body as well. My only issue is that the button to lock the trigger in is on the side of the handle where you can depress it with your thumb - if you’re right-handed. If you’re predominantly left-handed like me you have to try hard not to press the lock button every time you grasp the handle and, when you really want to lock it, the button is on the other side where you have no thumb. I now use it right-handed, but some people can’t do that very easily.

Not for video.
Does NOT take video it is only for taking photographs, very disappointed. Works ok for photographs but only bought it because it said that it took video.

Not all its cracked up to be.
Used at two airshows and was good for steadying the camera. But when I went to use it a third time it did not work at all ended up having to rewire the board as it was wired up with cheap cable. This held for a little while but has now stopped working again. To sum up cheaply made and not very robust will not bother to repair or replace. Will stick to my mono pod.
