Burris LER FIXED 2X Finish Handgun Scope (Plex Matte)

Amazon's description falsely states "This product is manufactured in United States." It's not.As you can see in the attached photo, this scope is clearly "Made in the Phillipines."Anyone buying this in the belief that they're buying an American product is being duped!My other complaint is that eye relief seems to be a very narrow, unforgiving range. According to the manufacturer, eye relief is from 10" to 24", which seems generously wide, but in reality I think it's more like 12-16" or 14-18", a much narrower range. Eye relief is sufficient for a pistol with my relatively short arms, but since eye relief seems to be a narrower range than manufacturer's specs say, it may not be enough eye relief for someone with long arms.Good points: Scope is lightweight (only 7 oz),It's compact (so you can use low scope rings),The reticle is clear and simple (simple crosshairs or "plex" reticle, no confusing or unnecessary hashmarks.

I actually have two I've these scopes I bought my first one from cabelas for my .357 mag. Loved it, it's crystal clear magnification is excellent, so I purchased my second one off Amazon for my .454 Casull. I was a little worried about the scope with the heavy recoils, but it handles it with out a problem. I have about 600 rounds through the 454 with the scope and no problems. Very great buy.

clear optics eye relief could be a little better good quality so far holding up to 357 magnum revolver

Great scope for a handgun.Mounted on my Ruger Super RedHawk and it was zeroed in no time. held zero on a .44 magnum.Eye relief is perfect for benchrested and freehand shooting. clarity was very good for this price range.

I been a fan of Burris handgun scope since day one and I have used other brands like Leupolds on other people guns and there is no comparisons. Burris is solid!

picture is misleading,should be changed , our they should be sued for false advertisement.It is not a posi lock scope as the picture shows!!!!!!

I would not buy this item from Amazon. The image show is not what I was shipped. The scope I received did not have the Posi-lock feature which is the reason I purchased it. I called Amazon when it arrived and to be honest they are totally clueless as to what is the Posi-lock feature is and why I should want it. I would not recommend ordering items like this from Amazon as they are not knowledgeable in this category of goods and the customer service experience I have encountered is unacceptable. This is the type of item I should have bought from a knowledgeable retailer that can be trusted to know what they are selling.

I mounted this scope on my Ruger Super Redhawk .44 mag and its an awesome sight picture. Absolutely love it. Fired 50 rounds through it, it never moved. I'd buy it again in a heart beat. Look out whitetails.
