Design Flaws
I bought this two years ago, and I had to trash it yesterday. It began to leak around the wide bottom plate for reasons I couldn't figure out. The handy 'don't have to flip it upside down' feature makes a strange drip system necessary, and it WOULD start to leak if I didn't carry it carefully enough away from the kitchen sink! I won't buy this again for that and 2 other reasons: the red faded slightly to a weird pink in my sunny location, and this has so many pieces that it's more annoying to clean than the other feeder that I bought at the same time. (Best-1 8oz. Hummingbird Feeder: only 2 pieces and it's still going strong!) I prefer a smaller feeder like these for the few hummers that we get every day. I fill it less-than-full, and mold doesn't have time to grow before I rinse and refill it in 3-4 days. Also, the lack of yellow is important. Yellow is what attracts bees; I had no bees on this feeder.

My Favorite Little Feeder
I buy a lot of hummingbird feeders and this is my favorite. A lot of them leak or rust and some of them are just too difficult to deal with. This one is plastic so it doesn't rust and I haven't had any problems with it leaking, but my favorite thing about it is the size and the fact that you don't have to turn it upside down to fill it. Its small enough to handle easily but not so small that you have to fill it too frequently. Plus, out of the four different feeders in my yard, this is the one the hummingbirds like most...and I have it under the patio, right outside our large family room window.

Love the top fill!
Spent years cleaning the old style h-bird feeders and finally bought this one. What a change in how you clean! It’s super easy to take apart and clean between refills. I loved it so much I bought second one and now those old feeders that were so hard to clean are in the garbage!

Easy to clean and take apart
Size quite right for weekly refill we are accustomed to. Makes humming birds fly for their food, which is nicer. Easy to clean and take apart. Hanging hook a bit too feeble: Looks like it's the first part that'll break. Good feeder for the price. Practical.

Love these feeders
I prefer the smaller feeders to the large because I clean and fill more frequently. I think it is healthier for the birds. The birds like this feeder even more if you take the little yellow flower off of the feeder

It's nice that I don't have to turn this over when ...
It's nice that I don't have to turn this over when I'm done filling it and can add more nectar (I would only add fresh nectar to fresh nectar) without creating a mess. Initially the birds did not drink from it because they prefer our original one with a perch which is nearby. They began using it after the other one ran out of nectar and now use both. Our hummers don't share so it helps that there are two feeders. Also, this one has a built-in ant well while I had to buy one for the other.

a truly "public property"
I think this is one of the best feeders I have. easy to clean and refill. We have some hummingbirds spend winter here in Dublin CA. They fight for the feeders and one will control all the feeders within his sight.I put this in the corner of our yard in the blind spot of that dominant hummingbird. But it is visible to birds when they fly by my yard. They will come one by one feed and leave because there is no resting place on this feeder and no tree to stand on to overlook it. As a result this is the most accessed by lots of hummers, a truly "public property".

Great for the birds and their people!
This is a great feeder - easy to clean and fill. I've never had as many visits to a feeder as I have to this one. And I like that the bottle is glass. Unfortunately, I screwed the feeder part onto the glass bottle too tightly and the glass broke. My fault, not the fault of the glass. Ordering a replacement right away!

I really like this feeder
I really like this feeder! I love the top access, and the hummingbirds really like it.The only thing preventing a 5 star rating is that I've had this for only a couple of weeks, and the flowers are fading in color very quickly.

Excellent small top-fill feeder
This feeder works quite nicely. If you don't want a push-pull feeder, this fills just as easily. We are hanging this one on a multiple hook post with other flowers that the hummingbirds enjoy. It is small enough that it isn't hidden by the hanging baskets and the flowers helped to get the birds started on the feeder. Works perfectly!

Perfect size
Love this little hummingbird feeder. Since nectar should be changed every 3 days in the summer, and maybe every 1 week in the fall/winter (California), this size is perfect for me. I like that part of the container is made of glass. I use 1 part sugar and 4 parts water for the nectar.

Don't
Terrible design the nectar level is too low for the hummingbirds beaks to reach nectar. I have 8 feeders around my house 7 old style which get filled every other day, none missing in this one in 2 weeks. We don't have hummingbirds around here with a 1 1/2" long beak, real world testing would have been a good idea.

This seemed like a great idea
This seemed like a great idea, no more leaking sugar water, but this product doesn't work. The hummingbirds can't get anything out of it. It is a very poor design as the flowers don't allow liquid to be sucked out. The bottom part of the container doesn't hold enough liquid to actually work. Don't buy, stick with the traditional one.

NO GO!
This thing leaks BIG TIME! I had ants all over the place! Look somewhere else for a good feeder!
