Pls sell it under kids tablets n screen. Its not like a professional reader for cars.
After a year of test n trial.. Menu is very difficult to approach certain task. Not useful at all.if compare to its price. Slow in connection.. Worst part is updates are very much slow..if it comes then u have to do all cars like honda, Toyota..masarati...suzuki...nisan....why???...i bought it only for Toyota and when it gives option to tick n select then why cant we deselect it...why its necessary to do all together....utterly stupid software. It wastes a lot of time n efforts.

Used this obd device to program a key fob for my 2004 tundra. Worked great. The menus are a bit troublesome to get to. Not all options are available, like controlling seat belt warning light. Neither was is on a tech stream program running off a windows 10 laptop running virtual won xp and tech stream. Worth the money and EASY to use with comprehensive info for Toyota and lexus

I have a few other higher-end readers - with Manufacturer specific access. I use an iCarSoft for Volvo, have an Innova for BMW, etc. I tried this one for Lexus/Toyota and have to say it does not measure up to other offerings. It does not come ready-to-use, and does not prompt you to update it. Even afterwards, further updates may be required to access all features - but you are on your own to figure that out. I had particularly purchased this to do some personalization/customization settings on two Lexus cars. I was able to do SOME of them eventually after hours of getting the machine set-up, but it would not access all of the available settings. I also found the screen difficult to use; it is overly-sensitive and with tiny on-screen icons and buttons. You will end up repeating many tedious functions unless you use a screen pen to operate it or have the delicate hands of a 13 year old waif. Bottom line is that this device is not ready for Prime-Time. I returned it and will find a better one from iCarSoft, Innova, or Autel for use with my Toyota/Lexus vehicles.

Works on ONLY Toyota's, I thought it would do basic scanning on other cars but it would not connect to my Honda. I think I am going to get the Think car 689 as it's about double the price (on sale now), has lifetime updates, and does most cars with full bidirectional and even ECU and module coding. This scanner I guess would be al right if you only work on Toyota's. I would look at the Launch x431 series but the updates run out after 2 years and they are REALLY expensive to renew (might as well just buy a new scanner)

My co-worker recommended the Launch Creader for my 2006 Toyota Corolla after my check engine light came on about a week and a half before I had to register my car with the DMV. I ordered the Creader with lifetime free updates and received it pretty fast- within 3 days. This is a handheld device and the size reminds of the old Game Boy Advance with a more rugged construction. Setting up the device was a breeze and the instructions were user friendly once I hooked it up to my car’s OBD outlet with the cord that was provided. The check engine light ended up clearing on its own before I got the Creader; however, when I ran the diagnostic program for the first time, I got a couple of error codes (P0441 and P0171) on my car’s EVAP system. I’m not sure if this what caused my check engine light to come on, but this is something that I got fixed at an auto shop at the beginning of the year. I was able to clear the codes on the Creader, but I loved that I was able to print out a report and e-mail myself the results to help with troubleshooting incase my check engine light come back on again. I also ran several additional diagnostic tests both idling my car and driving with the Creader and was able to make recordings and screenshots of the results. You do need a WIFI or hotspot connection to run them. Now, I’m not a mechanic so it took me some time to figure out what and how to use some of the different functions to run the tests. I recommend that the user manual be updated to include an example of how to use one of the most common functions that applies to the majority of vehicles. Overall, I’m glad that I got the Creader and am looking forward to learning more on how to use all its functions. It’s great to have some working knowledge about your car’s condition before you have to take it to a mechanic. I also love that there’s a glossary with the description of the DTC codes that you may encounter. If I decide to get another vehicle other than Toyota, I will consider getting the Creader for that particular car. This device is definitely great for the budding or established mechanic!

Bought this to help diagnose trouble with a sliding door on a 2009 Toyota sienna. Got it fixed before the scanner got delivered. This is like having techstream it has helped me diagnose air bag issues and shows resistance valves that show which one is causing the light to come on shows tire pressure and temperature in your tires. I haven’t gotten into all the scanner can do but it’s a perfect girt for a diy er. Easy to use auto detect works good. Can buy more vehicle selection in the mall and lifetime updates. For free. It you buy more vehicles in the mall, you have to renew yearly and update are free within that year. Compact. Can keep in your toolbox or glovebox and can email diagnostic reports and activate different components for diagnostics. Overall worth the money
