The key point of this device is to tell time. However, the 'voice activated' display is basically useless. It doesn't respond unless I shout or clap loudly less than a foot from the clock. Tapping the back panel sometimes turns it on too. More than a foot away? You can just look at a wood block and wish it told you the time.The clock looks as expected and I like the minimal look, though keep in mind there's a large ugly plastic panel on the 'rear' of the clock for buttons, AC plug, and the battery compartment.I really wanted to like this clock, but it just isn't functional.

This clock has such a sleek and expensive feel. Works great and is easy to see and cool to look at. If you are wondering if you should get this, buy it!
