I ordered these for a reason that might surprise--but who knows, there might be someone out there with a similar problem. I suffered a sudden sensory neural hearing loss in one ear about 8 months ago. The nerves in my inner ear are damaged. And in noisy places, such as restaurants, the subway, etc., it sets off the damaged nerves and I get really bad tinnitus. I tried a foam earplug in my bad ear, but it caused some bothersome "inner" noises (like hearing myself walk--clomp! clomp! inside my head). Plus I did get some of my hearing back (not a lot) and I lost that too with the foam earplugs. I realized what I needed was noise reduction rather than conventional blocking earplugs. These work very well for that and yet I can still pick up some sound, and I don't have any inner noise bothering me. So a very good solution! Thanks!

Got a pair for the wife and I for Imagine Dragons concert because our seats were pretty close. :-) It was loud and I popped these in and yes they did reduce the sound but the quality of sound took a nose dive as well! I fussed with them and even took them out on the mellow songs so I could hear the full fidelity so I will be looking for something else. I have a good ear for sound and these just make everything sound dull.

Noise reduction for high pitch is amazing
I have a sensitive ear; when there's high pitch noises (especially whistling) it causes severe pain (like a needle stabbing my ear drum). I got these ear plugs to test out and see if they would help - they do!

just something i need!
I like these little things. I use one pair when I swim, I hate some water in my ears after swimming, it works. yeah! And I gave one pair to my daughter since she is studying very hard for a big exam. sometimes she complained the TV sound bothers her , she chose the blue one, aha, it works well too. it is soft and very comfortable and I think it can last a long time. good deal and very useful for us.

The ear plugs work great. Noise reduction effect is very good, very good quality .It contains a carrier case as well that can be attached to your key chain. I am extremely impressed by it and recommend it to everyone who is looking for ear plugs. They also given u a second set.Worth the money.

Not working for me.
It's really hard to get these to stay in my ears, but I think my ear canals are smaller than most. The bigger problem is that even when they do stay in my ears, I don't think they block out or refuce noise at all. I was using the putty type plugs before and will go back to those.

Tractor best friend
Before I use the green one that heavy, warm and tied.I weared it to drive tractor and 0-turn to move the grass. It worked great and comfortable. This is the tractor best friend.It's washable and dry quickly.

While I like the design
These earplugs are the most compact "hard" earplugs that I have seen. I have tried several for sleeping and am finding that even with the compact design, if you sleep on your side as I do, the earplugs pressing against the pillow make your ears hurt by morning. While I like the design, I cannot use the plugs because they hurt my ears.
