A good item for the heavier dog, but I have 4 Toy Poodles, hence I purchased the large one. I assumed that two would fit on together, but wasn’t to be. Unfortunately, small dogs like my Toys are not heavier enough to have an effect on the cooling gel.If I lay on it, or press my hand heavily on it I can definitely feel the coolness.I would therefore assume it would work for the larger heavier dogs.
