Seems like a dependable unit. After figuring out the instructions and how to change the measurements, put the unit through some basic measurements comparing with a tape measure. Seems pretty accurate so far. Will put it through some longer distances this week while at work. Laser is bright and able to see clearly. Having the lanyard makes it easy to hang from my tool pouch or back pack. The included carrying case seems sturdy and able to protect it from being damaged. The screen with backlit is clear and the ability to log 4 measurements makes it useful for multiple measurements. Wishing the built-in levels were a little bigger but still functionable.

I was weary of this unit at first, but most measurements seem to be accurate. My photo is in a 7' tall personnel door in a commercial building, so this was spot on. the other measurements are from the floor to ceiling, which is accurate as well. there are a few different modes, including ceiling and wall measurement modes, as well as some simple math like finding the hypotenuse of a triangle, or perimeter and area measurements based off your take off. very useful when in the field and need to take a measurement longer than a tape measure.

The range finder is easy to set up and use. The instruction manual is in English and Chinese. Seems right on with dimensions.

Although I prefer to move to metric measurements as often as possible, I was a little surprised there was no way to change to English units. However, I did measure the width of my garage door and the actual dimension seemed pretty accurate. I did measurement in bright sunlight and couldn't see the laser to confirm my position of measurement.

This laser distance meter is made very well and the backlit display is clear and bright. I like the fact that you can measure in both metric and imperial. It has multiple measuring options and a nice carry sheath that you can put on your belt. Also has a measuring distance of 50M. I recommend this product.
