Is this the same as clotted cream? Several people in their reviews have called it clotted cream.

Clotted Cream and Double Cream are different: Clotted cream has a minimum of 55% butterfat, while Double cream has a butterfat content of 48%. The Clotted Cream will be denser and thicker than the Double one.

Could i use this in Tea?

This actually is the consistency of butter which surprised me. Don't think it works well in coffee or tea but it was great on toast.

use instead of whipped cream or regular cream, for fruit, especially berries, and for scones with jam

What is the shelf life

Shelf life if stored in fridge on arrival has still been edible at 4 months. I recommend this product. I made scones for Christmas morning. Served with this cream and currant jelly. Everyone agreed this is a new tradition.
