Fabulous product- strongly recommend!
Absolutely brilliant product. So simple and quick to use. Tested that the plumber had connected outlets correctly. We have various taps, some are fed from the water softener, some not. This enabled us to check that everything was in order. Very clear, easy to see result. Astonished at how well it works. Thank you. And of course quick delivery by Amazon too.

They are accurate
They work as they shouldand are accurate! I turned off my water to my water softener and took a sample after running the water for a couple of minutes and tested the water and it showed it was very hard, I repeated the test with the softener on and after running the tap to clear the hard water - see the results on the photo, so in my opinion thru are very good value for money!

Okay but not brilliant.
Sort of works - colours are not exactly reg amber green but muddy, less muddy and muddy… need good eyesight. Bought as a one off.

$5 well spent! Highly Accurate.
I was curious if my 23 year old water softener was still doing its job well so I dropped $5 on Prime Days for these test strips. I took a sample from an indoor sink (softened) and then from the outside spigot (unsoftened). The strips showed the difference within seconds. Long live my Craftsman water softener circa 2003!

Check on your soft-water performance
I thought that our water softener wasn't putting out soft water, so I bought these test strips and was pleasantly surprised to see that our water is, indeed, soft. These strips are a good way to keep an ongoing eye on softener performance. Good packaging, too. Five thumbs up!

Not rigorous test but not much to lose.
This is a semi-quantitative test -- only approximate hardness value. And the reliability of the unused strips is guaranteed only for a few months once the package is opened. But you get a lot of test strips for a very reasonable price.
