This little icemaker is perfect. I live alone in an apartment with an old two-door frig with little freezer on top which is always packed. I use a lot of ice in everything I drink. Ice cubes trays were a mess, always spilling and never enough room. I would order extra ice when I went through a drive-in window but so infrequently that I was always running out. Bags of ice at the store wouldn't fit and the stored ice would pick up tastes. Two glasses of water and I have enough for my drinks and two little baggies in my freezer that tuck away nicely between other stuff. And, I like the size as they fit in my drink mugs. These cubes have a hole in the middle which makes them nice and easy to crunch on. And the price was right. If you need something small and convenient this is it!!!!!

We love this little machine and we highly recommend it, it has been a lifesaver for us when our ice maker was not putting out much ice.It's perfect for a couple or small family, the ice is perfect. We have had it right at a year and have had no issues with it.It is not super loud and it just makes similar noises to what a regular ice maker would make, ice dropping into the bucket, motor running.It's not a freezer, it keeps the ice chilled, so it will melt, but it does recirculate, and you do have to fill it up with water once you've used all the ice.But we do love it.

I use this daily and love it. It's nice and quiet. Makes good ice and quickly. Easy to use. Good value..the only drawback I would say is the ice is very wet because it doesn't keep it cold in the holder.

we have been using this thing for over a year now and have had zero issues. ice storage is a little small but we empty it into a freezer container and store excess in there. its on 24-7 and makes ice like a champ. easy to clean and hasn't let us down yet. would recommend!

We have a countertop ice maker at work that costs around $700. It makes the best ice, so I was apprehensive about buying a cheaper ice maker for my house. I definitely couldn’t afford $700, but I wanted a good one that made Sonic ice. I didn’t care about how loud it was; I just wanted chewable ice in a decent amount of time. When I received it, I followed all the instructions and made my first batch of ice—It was perfect! Soft, chewable ice in about 15 minutes! After about 30-40 minutes, it made two basket fulls of ice out of a plastic cup full of water. Sorry, I don’t know exactly how much water. Our plastic cups are regular drinking cups if that helps? I like to start the ice maker and then do a chore like cleaning the kitchen or something. By the time I’m done, my ice is ready and perfect! I read a review where a buyer said if the add water light comes on, it’s faster to add water and turn the maker off then on again like you’re starting a new batch. That was a great tip. I’m the only one in my house who likes ice, so it’s perfect for me. The ice doesn’t stay cold in the bin, though, so if you leave it sitting, it will melt into the water reservoir and start the process of making ice again. It’s not like the one at work where it’ll have ice waiting on us when we come in Monday morning. If I could afford it, I would buy it just for the convenience of not having to wait for ice. The ice from this one tastes and feels the same as the expensive one. This ice maker is perfect for me and I’m glad I took a chance on buying it! I’ve only had it a couple of months, so I’ll come back and update once I’ve had it for awhile.

We have owned this ice maker for over 3 years. Works perfectly! We have brought it to our cabin every year where we would normally have to buy ice to keep up with demand of family, visitors etc. This has been a lifesaver! Easy to use, easy to clean and makes ice fast. Love it!!

*Update* After the review, the seller contacted me to see if there was anything they could do to help. Since the "low water" issue is how the system works, they offered a partial refund due to device not working to my satisfaction. Great customer service, not something I was looking for, but they provided anyways.Makes ice and pretty quickly, so that's good. But the water hopper holds 6 cups of water. The sensor reads low ice with 2 cups of water still inside and stops making ice. Makes it where you have to fill the water more often. But 2 cups inside is a lot!

Got this after looking at many different models and options. Overall happy with the purchase, its fairly small which is great for my lack of counter space. It does make a little noise while its running but not bad at all in my opinion. The ice is produced fast, but it will take around an hour to get your first full basket of ice. The ice is chewable which is exactly what I wanted, although its not quite as slushy as you might get from a commercial ice maker at a restaurant. The only things I don't like so far are that like any of the similar models where the ice falls down the "chute" it can build up in the basket vertically and stop the ice maker from filling the basket completely. A minor issue for me since I'd be watching it and tending to it frequently to get ice the way I use it. I think a cleaning every 2-3 times of use is a good idea, my ice started to have a "taste" after that, so I'll be running a cleaning job soon before I use it again.
