What a great idea this is!PROS:It really does protect your counter and/or stovetop. It helps to keep mess to a minimum for sure. It is large enough that I can rest several utensils on it while I am cooking or baking.CONS:The item itself can hold onto messes. I notice that the grooves hold onto some of the drippings from utensils. After most uses, I have to place the entire thing in the sink and give it a light scrub. I really wish I could clean it with a damp rag most of the time.Overall, I like this more than I thought. I don't even mind having to scrub it down!
