Effective
My experience wit this product has been positive. I have used a lot of different vitamins, minerals, herbs, and supplements over the years, but this was my first time sweet flag, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. I’ve been taking these on and off for the last six weeks. The tablets are very small and easy to take and swallow, which I like. To me, the pills in the bottle smell a little bit like black licorice, but I haven’t noticed a taste or aftertaste when I take them, which I like. When I take them, I tend to have an improved mood, increased alertness, better focus, and more energy, which I definitely like, and I haven’t had any negative side effects. Honestly, there’s nothing about this supplement that I don’t like; it’s got natural ingredients, it’s effective, good quality, and a good value.

1,000 mg dose hits hard!
These Sweet Flag tablets are definitely strong, but honestly, they feel a little risky. The 1,000 mg dose hits hard, and it’s not exactly something you see in every store. I can see the appeal for people who like powerful herbal supplements, but it’s not for the faint of heart.

Sweet Flag that can be split to get smaller doses
These small tablets weigh 312 mg and are about 1/4 inch in diameter. They contain 100 mg of a 10:1 extract of sweet flag. Typically, it is the underground rhizome of sweet flag that is used, but nowhere is it explicitly stated that this is rhizome extract. I wish this has been more clearly stated. The label reads "Promotes relaxation, Combats, Respiratory Congestion, Aids Digestion." While "Promotes Relaxation" and "Aids Digestion" are likely permissible structure/function claims since there is a FDA disclaimer, the phrase "Combats Respiratory Congestion" is likely a impermissible disease claim for a nutritional supplement. Just sayin'. At high doses, beta and alpha-asarone present in sweet flag are reported to be genotoxic and mutagenic (PMID: 24200497); thus, it should be avoided in pregnancy, in children, and not be used in high doses. Beta-asarone is an orally active, penetrates the blood brain barrier, and is an anti-inflammatory and neuroprotective agent. Thus, it is likely a useful agent, but it needs to be used at the right dose. One reference says the general dosage of Vacha (Calamus) root powder for adults is 25 to 50 mg with a maximum dose of 100 mg per day. Other references suggest up to 300 or 500 mg of root, but that may be fresh rather than dried root. This brings me to my main concern with the product. I think the dose (1000 mg equivalent) is higher than needed, and that one-fourth of this much makes more sense. Fortunately, the tablets break easily, allowing one to use a quarter tablet at a time.

Pressed Single Stacks Sweet Flag Pills
The Sweet Flag (Vacha) 10X Extract Tablets, 1,000 mg Acorus Calamus Extract in a 30-count bottle, are a well-formulated natural herbal supplement designed for overall wellness. I tested these tablets and found that, despite being pressed pills, they are easy to digest and did not cause any stomach discomfort. The quality of the extract is excellent, and the tablets maintain their integrity without crumbling or leaving an unpleasant aftertaste. I appreciated the effects after taking them consistently, and I believe this product offers good value for those interested in herbal supplements. The formulation seems potent, and the convenience of tablet form makes it easy to integrate into a daily routine. Based on my positive experience, I intend to reorder this product and recommend it to others seeking a reliable natural wellness supplement.

Watch out for this one
Acorus calamus or Sweet Flag has been commercially banned in the United States. I don't know how it's being used as a supplement, but in looking up more facts about it, after taking it for a while, comes out that this may be toxic. I'd exercise caution with this and would stay away from it. It's going in the garbage right now. Usually when getting supplements, I do research beforehand, and I didn't come across the banned part, just the traditional uses. Be careful with this one.

Clear Focus
These were very easy to swallow and so far they seem quite effective. My mind seems sharper and I’m able to focus on tasks more easily. I have only been taking for about a month, but so far I’m impressed. Will likely continue to purchase these - seem to be good quality.

Not sure this is safe
I was not very familiar with this supplement but was willing to give it a try. The pills are small and that makes them easy to take. They can be split if you need less. I'm taking Vacha on my natural beauty journey to help support focus. This substance can be toxic and I suggest approaching it with extreme care.
