Worked perfectly. Time saver and I was able to replace all of my alarms with the updated version with confidence. I was a little worried about redoing the wires myself since the shape of the plug had changed on the new alarms. Worth the few extra dollars. I did need to carefully stuff the wires in a few of the boxes, not much extra room up there, but easily worked around.

My house is starting to get to the age where I need to replace all of my smoke detectors, and they are all wired together, but use a connector that the new Smoke Detectors don't use. This adaptor works perfectly and is small enough to tuck into the existing mounting in the house. I'll be picking up more of these when I replace the smoke detectors next year.

When I was repainting the interior of my home, I decided it was a good tome to replace my fire / carbon monoxide / smoke detectors as well. I had the older style Kiddie alarm connector and DID NOT want to have to do any complicated wiring. This harness served as an easy adapter and fit perfectly. Great design, easy to use. Would recommend.

Exactly what I needed to connect my new smoke/CO2 detector to my preexisting hardwire quick connect. My old detector expired and that model was discontinued. This is so worth the money for someone that doesn’t want to change out the quick connect hardwire that’s already installed.

These were purchased and in the end, not needed. They do seem to be built well for the designed task.

Was an absolute time saver to use an adapter that allowed the existing wiring to work with the new alarms installed in design. Just plug it in and away you go. Would have been nice if kidde had included the adapter with the alarms but they don’t.
