The easy to use Procter Trip Trap Live Catch Mouse Trap safely catches unwanted visitors without harming them. When entering the trap in search of the bait the door automatically shuts behind the mouse, without causing too much distress to the animal. Ventilation points allow air in, and due to the clear plastic it is easy to see when something has been captured.

I bought one of these humane mouse traps 2 years ago - it was amazing,This year I bought 2 new ones as they get a bit chewed by angry mice! , We live in the countryside and even though we think all air grates/holes in the walls are covered sufficiently/ cemented up - still mice get inside. The first year we caught 14! I would take them over half a mile away and let them loose. My husband was convinced the same mice were jumping into the trap for a day out!I have found peanut butter to be the best bait and irresistible to mice - it always traps one if it is there .Last year we caught 2 and then no more signs of mice (we had covered all air grates with fine mesh and plastered any cracks/holes in the walls after the previous years mouse count). This year I have caught 4 (obviously a way in some where) - but no more signs of mice since early December - They do work if placed where you know mice go - under sinks etc. I totally recommend them.Definitely worth trying if you have a winter mouse problem. You can get them all within the first cold month - then are free (until the next year!)

Great - they do what they are meant to do
After trying 2 different types of humane traps and finding that they didn't work (bait eaten and trap empty) these are fantastic and do the job they are meant to. Every morning we wake up to find that we have 'guests' in the traps. The traps are clear so you don't have to wonder if there's any guests inside. Just remember to release them at least 1/4 mile away from your house otherwise they may come back from another visit.Highly recommended!

Procter Trip Trap Mouse Trap x 2
I’ve tried several other traps, like the “Big Cheese” brand before but they never worked once the mice got suspicious of them. This one worked, after trying to catch a super clever mouse for 2 years+. It took 3 weeks for the catch since I set it up, but I got her in the end, and released her into the bushes at a local park.I particularly liked the catch mechanism. It’s very simple, but does not close the trap door until the mouse is fully inside, and touches the little bar when it goes for the food. This ensures that once the door closes the mouse does not have time to react and escape, which was a problem I found with the “Big Cheese” brand as once that happens a mouse learns never to go back to that type of trap. This Procter Trip Trap didn’t have that problem, and was also easy to set and reset and easy to let the mouse out unharmed, so got the desired result! It was also at a reasonable price of £7.99 for two traps including postage.

They really work!
These are great, but you need to put them in the right place. I chose a cupboard where there was obviously mouse activity, and the mice themselves told me which bait to use because they had a go at my 'Harvest Crunch' type of breakfast cereal, having gnawed through the packaging. I caught one mouse the very first night, and two more (separately) the next day. All were released into the wild more than a mile away, and in almost exactly the same spot. Other than arranging a daily supply of breakfast cereal I don't know what more I could have done.

Best humane trap I've found - highly recommended!
This is the best mouse trap I've ever used!It had a 100% success rate and caught 12 mice in 12 days and 11 were alive! Which is really good!I also like the flap on the door so it's easy to check from a distance if it's horizontal it's empty, if it's vertical it's been tripped. The fact it is also see through helps to know if you caught anything..... Sounds simple but allot you cannot see through which is pretty useless.I have to say it's not the easiest to clean though, best I found so far was to blast it with the hose to get poop out then rinse it in a bucket of water and bleach.I'd highly recommend this item, it's easy to set and as I say had a great success rate.If I needed a replacement I wouldn't hesitate to order this again!

Cheap and works a treat!
Great little device that works a treat. Two issues worth noting. (1) it's a humane trap so presumably you want to catch mice alive and release them unharmed? The trap is very small so I have removed the end section and cut a hole in a larger plastic box that the trap then sits snuggly inside.inside the larger box,I put a sheet of crumpled up kitchen paper and anreasoable food supply. In the event of a mouse being in the trap for a few hours or overnight, it has a bit of bedding and some food.(2) the trip part is relatively thin and easily chewed through which has happened to a couple of previous traps I have had. This is another good reason to fit the trap to a larger box, if the mouse has room to move around, it might be less inclined to try gnaw it's way to freedom.Other than the above, highly recommended. Cheap and works well.

Does what it says on the can!
Had at least three brace of the blighters. Interesting to find that as many caught during the day as at night! Not caught many recently but I think that it's made the remaining family more cautious about coming in.

Does the trick, easy to use and check
Easy to set up and does the trick as we caught one mouse on the first night and another on the next. Good to have see-through plastic as it is easier to check that the mouse is in there. The first mouse could be heard trying to nibble through the plastic of the trip mechanism but could see no damage. Peanut butter worked as the bait. Easy to take apart to clean and door opens easily to let the mouse out far away from the house (instructions advise over 500 m away)
