Cute but creaks
A little one in our life loves Stitch more than cookies (!), so of course I had to order this Large Collectible Stitch Figure from the Just Play store.He turned up a few days ago and has been shaking his cute head ever since at any little breeze or vibration. I am very happy with how he looks. The colors are super saturated and he is very, very glossy. This Stitch has some sort of translucent finish on him, which gives his overall look a soft and fun finish- it actually makes him very touchable.He's also an excellent size for display. Just right for showing on a shelf, and even if you have a few they won't take over the room. The head movement is lucy-goosey, as it should be, with just a touch.Overall, he looks and feels to be fairly sturdy and good quality but there is one small thing that bugs me. He creaks. When just tapping his ear he makes some rather musical sounding noises in his spring, but if his head starts moving from side to side it's a more annoying metal on metal squeaking noise. I see wd40 in this character's future.Other than that he is a cute little toy, and I'm sure we'll make a Stitch fan very happy. At time of this review Stitch is selling for $9.99, and even with the creaks I can't complain about that.
