High quality tiles! I love the size of the tiles. Each tile is engraved. This set reminds me of the set I had growing up.

A great set of sturdy extra large (1.48” high) melamine tiles at a very reasonable price in a reasonably sturdy reinforced vinyl case. The tiles feel solid in the hand and make a nice noise when played on a hard table. If you are looking at similar sets, this is the one you want. I spent a fair amount of time comparison shopping before buying this set. Many similar looking sets have smaller tiles and/or flimsier cases. Like any good full size set of Mahjong tiles, these are pretty heavy, weighing in around 14 lbs.. The double snap closure is nice. While the carrying handle is sturdier than others in the same price range, I wouldn’t actually rely on it too much if at all. It seems like the most likely point of failure.The set I received had an extra of one tile and was short another. I wrote an email to Mose Cafolo explaining the situation, got an immediate response and the missing tile was very promptly replaced (with a nice little gift thrown in). Obviously you don’t want to have to deal with customer support at all in the first place, but as mistakes are bound to occur, it’s good to know which vendors take their responsibilities seriously. We all know that too many do not. (Shame on Amazon for not establishing clear standards of customer service from third party vendors.) This was a pleasant exception.The set I bought was for Chinese rules with 144 tiles, though apparently Mose Cafolo also sells the larger sets for American rules which you can also use to play Chinese rules.

The item received on time and the product is great! I love heavy tiles, the colors and the case. Just like an authentic Chinese mahjong set that we used to buy for hundreds of dollars, but for way less! Thank you!!

To save time and effort, my daughter doesn’t want to return and we could just put a tape on it. It doesn’t really bother the whole game set. To the supplier, you should have good quality check. Other than that, the quality seemed ok for now.Size:It’s a good size for us so it’s nice to play where you can really hold the tiles Durability:I just used it so as of now it’s good.

Just such a well made Mahjong set. love the quality and color of the tiles. Cant''t wait to use them today. I would like to find out how to get the Jokers for this set because I would like to play American as well as Chinese mahjong with this set. Very happy with my purchase!

The pieces are sturdy and top quality. Some people have had issues with the box (which I didn’t really care about) but my mine showed up in perfect condition.I bought the Chinese version and had an afterthought to get the joker tiles so I had the option to play American Mahjong. I reached out to the company and not only were they immediately responsive but they are sending me the tiles. (I had to pay shipping which wasn’t much.)Hands down, this is the best value for money if you want large tiles with numbering in English. I checked Temu, AliExpress, and SHEIN as well as other sellers on Amazon which were all more expensive.

Very happy with this set. Numbers are helpful. Tiles are larger than typical sets. The trays and case could be stronger, but not too bad. Two family members ordered the same item after using ours!
