We recently had our house fumigated. The fumigators worked their way through our home owners' association complex and provided me with some bags for free in advance. I had to double bag my household items due to the flimsiness of the bags, so I ordered these extra large bags on Amazon to complete my prep work.These suckers are really heavy duty and large enough to safely seal closed to protect my food stuffs with only one bag. I was very pleased with the bags and wanted to share my experience with others in a similar situation.

Despite it being in the description, these bags are NOT Nylofume and are not suitable for bagging items during fumigation.

I have been looking for a thick clear bag to pack our room humidifier to store for the winter. I came across these and they are perfect. I also used one to send a large stuff Clydesdale to our grand nephew in California. They are very sturdy and I like the fact you can see through the bag. Previously, we had to store the humidifier in an opaque contractor bag which the mice in the storage unit seem to like. Highly recommend.

These bags are quite large (approximately 2.5 feet x 3.5 feet). The plastic used is extremely thick and sturdy. I can see that the bags would be very difficult to rip or tear -- they are much, much thicker and stronger than the highest quality heavy duty black trash bags.The only downside I see is that the plastic is so thick and stiff that there is no convenient way to close them. The picture online shows a black cord tying a bag shut at the top, but it would not be easy to tie a bag shut like that, in my opinion, because the bags are so thick and relatively inflexible.However, it would be an easy matter to fill these bags with the desired item and then tape the bags shut with clear box packing tape. That would provide a relatively easy way to get an airtight and watertight seal for the contents stored in the bag.The inability to close and seal these bags easily is a minus, but the plastic is quite thick and sturdy, and the transparency is a plus, so I recommend these bags when a watertight and very secure storage method is needed.

We are in the middle of a remodel where there is a lot of drywall sanding, etc., occurring. I ordered these to protect lamps, and home decor from the dust and debris. So far I am very happy with how well they are covering and protecting our things. The bags are huge, and they are durable. I recommend these and feel they are as described in their advertisement.
