Sally Hansen Insta-Dri® Holo-Glow, Lustrous Lilac, Quick Dry, Long Lasting, Streak-Free Shine, Metallic Purple Nail Polish

This was easy to apply, it dried really quickly and the color was pretty but more subtle and not as girly as the other color I tried from Major Dijit which was pearlish with purple overtones.It lasted a decent time and didn't chip easily. It de-emphasized the ridges in my nails and my nails seem stronger (I have weak nails). I am very happy with it. I used the insta-dry top coat one time and will put some on again but this picture is without top coat. Edit: it's better with a top coat. Otherwise it is a little rough and duller. Edit 2: it is really hard to remove.

My gripe about at home polish jobs has always been the dry time. Sheet marks, creases and nicks usually ruin my do-it-yourself efforts pretty quickly. UNTIL…. Our girl Sally unleashed the line of Insta-Dri polish. It does really and truly dry super quickly, and there are loads of colors and finishes to choose from. For $6 a pop, a better deal cannot be found.The polish lasts a couple of days no chipping. I usually don’t bother with a bottom coat, which sometimes means a little extra elbow grease is needed for removal; but I can add another coat during the week if I want to make it last longer. Two coats of anything with color seems to be the sweet spot, with a third if I’m making it last longer.

I love this color! Is is exactly what I was looking for! I have used it by itself and also on top of other colors and have get to find a color it does not look good on! It is easy to apply, and smooth.. not rough or chunky. It texture and color is thin but not too thin. I have used it with one coat and sometimes three coats depending on the look I am trying to achieve (in the pictures I posted, one picture isn1 coat and the other is with 3 coats. The Holographic portion really is beautiful especially in the sunlight. So far I am super impressed how long it lasts and I have not had any issues with chipping at all!! I highly recommend and will be purchasing again in the same and other colors!

Color is on my middle and pinky fingers. In the photo I have one coat applied over plain black nail polish and it really pops, looks just like the night sky. Can't wait to try it on top of some other colors and by itself. As usual, the polish quality is good, not runny at all and dries quickly as promised.

It’s def my favorite color right now. So beautiful and easy to apply. Drys so fast and I want every color of this line now. I highly recommend this. Great quality and not too thick. You can Easley keep adding coats for better coverage

It’s holographic kind of, so if you make slight mistakes- won’t be noticeable.However, I use at least 1 coat of Sally Hanson’s Diamond clear strengthener for my first coat and then I apply 2 coats of this color. It definitely needs two coats, finishing with Sally Hanson’s clear topcoat that’s instantly dries (not so much, BUT quicker! I make sure each layer is completely dry prior to applying another layer- which helps in the end.) no matter how many times I color my nails, it’s very very easily chipped off or even peeled off completely.I was #1 in the nails portion at cosmetology school, however; it was 25 years ago but regardless the basic principles will always apply. Sally Hansen has been around forever! Very likely the only brand that’s been around for all of my life and even my mother’s who would’ve been In her 80s. Thereby proving the brand is solid. Absolutely the best of the best when it comes to the prices which are unheard of vs quality! The products with that comparison in mind just canNOT be beat.So, if you’re poor (LUKE MEEE!) or just frugal on superficial things (me too,) then I would highly recommend these products.

Too much glitter and ugly

This polish is really pretty. Love the sparkly lilac color. I used a base coat and drying drops with this and did 2 layers, and it lasted 2 or 3 days before it started coming off. After a half hour or so I smudged a nail, despite the 60 second drying time claim. Maybe too many layers...

Personally, I find it's not worth the money. It's a beautiful color and does dry quick however I find it chips very easily. The first time I put it on, I did the dishes a few hours later and one of them even peeled off completely, would I buy it again? Nah, not for the price they are asking for.
