Good book, a little slow but very spicy
Overall I think the book was good, well written but a little slow and I got a little bored towards the end but it’s definitely spicy 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ and dark the story was interesting and different.

Wow, what a ride!!
Kyah has a lot of men in her life that somehow seem to think that she belongs to them. First there's Crew and he's been after her for a while now but seems to be content on giving her time to sow her wild oats. Then there's Viper who has told Kyah in no uncertain terms that she would be his old lady one day whether it was willingly or not. Plus she's got a new neighbor named Alex that seems very interested in her but wants all of her to himself. But the cherry on top of all of that is her stalker, Reid, who's ready to play with his latest victim before he ends her life. With all these guys hovering around her Kyah is not sure which end is up or who to trust. This is a great read and an absolutely fabulous story!!

It started off so great....
The introduction of Reid and his whole serial killer MO was concise but it got the story going. (Just as a side note you never get to the bottom of exactly why he kills or how he chooses his prey, so if you're hoping for that look elsewhere.) I enjoyed getting his POV but there just was not enough of it to really keep the suspense going in the book. I could have done without so many other extraneous POVs throughout the book and just mainly focused on his narrative. Even Kyah's POV became tiresome as she worked everything out. Her internal monologue was not interesting and was quite repetitive when it comes down to it. As soon as Reid's POV fell off the planet and all the reader is getting is Ky the pacing of the book became sluggish even though the author tried to beef up the story with spicy scenes between Ky and Reid. Not having his POV during pretty much 3/4 of the book was just a waste in my opinion. (I won't spoil anything but you'll get more on why this is important later in the book.) This book could have been so much more and the ending was too laughable and innocent for my tastes, especially considering this is a standalone. I would consider this book a palate cleanser rather than a full meal, even though it is a long book not much really happens. There is just no meat to the storyline and I'm just not buying into Reid's obsession because there was nothing in his background or Kyah's to really justify the attraction let alone the obsession. Anyone else notice that we never really get a full description of Kyah? Not even her tattoos (even with every guy she encounters pretty much mapping her entire body with their eyes or their tongue)? With her being an artist I would expect while she is musing about finishing up her sleeve that she would at least describe her other surrounding tattoos in detail and how the imagery/theme would flow with the rest of her sleeve or general body of work. In general there is a lot missing in this book, details that would have rounded out the narrative and brought a richness to the story so it could come alive and really suck you in.All in all this is a ⭐ ⭐.5 but I bumped it to ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ because the writing did flow and I was able to finish it, even if my reading speed slowed down to a snails pace as I waited for Reid's POV to come back (which made every new chapter with Kyah's POV that much more tiresome). However, I am willing to pick up this authors other work to see if the storytelling gets any better.

wow
This was my first Sheridan Anne book and that was a wild ride. I can’t mark stuff as a spoiler here so I’ll just say there’s something that maybe is supposed to be a twist but it seemed pretty obvious to me pretty early on - so obvious I kept thinking it was a fake trail. Despite that it was still a fun read. I read the ebook and I’m not sure if there is an audiobook, or if there is who narrates it, but I kept hearing the neighbor as Zachary Webber and the coworker as Teddy Hamilton and the biker as Shane East (even though Viper isn’t British but I guess he is in my mind). The main character is Samantha Brentmoor and the best friend is CJ Bloom. Anyway I usually lean towards romcoms and this is dark but still fun. You should read it.

Dark and delicious!
This novel is so incredibly dark and depraved. Consent is a thing of the past in this book, and the hero is a legit serial killer, so tread lightly. Please do not read unless you are absolutely sure you can handle it. This book is hot as hell with great character development and a clever storyline. It's also well written, which is a huge plus! My only complaint is that it leaves so many unanswered questions. For example, what happened with the Grim Reapers? Didn't they have access to the cameras in her apartment after they reset them? And why is every guy in a 10 mile radius obsessed with Kyah? It's sort of bizarre how irresistible she is. But overall, it really is a good dark romance; emphasis on the DARK!

Unbelievable Read
I was on the edge of my seat, until I wasn’t. So many twists and turns, Sheridan always kept you guessing. There were never any parts that lagged or dragged on. Would even read again, even knowing the outcome. Definitely worth a read.

Loved it but there’s not much of a plot twist
So good😍 I got it on Monday and pulled an all nighter on Tuesday just to finish it, it was so hard to put down and totally worth losing sleep over! That being said, the stalkers identity was SO predictable from the jump. You have to be really inattentive and outright oblivious to have missed the very obvious indicators early on. Before purchasing the book I read so many reviews about the great plot twist, but for me it was so apparent until the point where I questioned if that was the authors intention. She made it clear as day but nonetheless, it was still a great read and very hot!*SPOILER ALERT*First off, Alex is very secretive from the jump when Kyah asks him personal questions. He goes to get a tattoo from Kyah and he fills out the form as Alexander Reid. His last name is LITERALLY the stalkers name lol so how could anyone possibly miss that?! Also, he tells Kyah he had a f****d up childhood and in his chapters he mentions having dark secrets. THEN, this is the one that gets me, the stalker writes, “Are you ready to play” on her bedroom wall and when she has sex with Alex he says the EXACT same line to her verbatim! These examples are just to name a few.

Mjaaa
Tyvär är boken inte så välskriven, karaktärerna är ytligt beskrivna och alla använder samma språkbruk (använder mkt svärord).Lämnar mycket att önska. Har läst halva och kommer inte läsa klart.

I was little unsure if it was a why choose but clearly the men fighting over our stunning FMC did not believe in sharing at all.I cannot wait to dive into Sheridan's other books!Stars: 5/5

Check your triggers
Ok so I think this one raised my reading level. It was spicy and I figured out the twist far too early but that didn't keep me from loving it.Trigger Warnings... where do I start 🤔 if you aren't ready for dark romance this isn't the book for you.
