ContigoHandled AUTOSEAL® Stainless Steel Travel Mug with Easy-Clean Lid, 16oz.

This is the 2nd Contigo of this type of coffee cup that I bought. It is only 2nd because it last longer (3 years or more ) as it is really durable. I have multiple time drop my cup and did notice any dent to it. The color only chips off if you have it for many years and that is the reason I bought a new one. I love the lock at the side of the handle that prevents your cup from spilling when you accidentally drop or press it. It is easy to press when you try to drink and open that hole. The handle have the soft grip inside that will keep your fingers from getting callouses. It does keep your drink warm enough that my hot chocolate is still warm at 12 noon when I prepare it at 6am (I only microwave my water in a different cup only for 2 mins and transfer it to this cup). I am hoping this 2nd one will be as good as my first one. Over all I love this cup and happy I bought a new one. Hopefully I can give updates after months of using it.

I used my first Contigo Coffee Mug everyday for 8 yrs. and wanted another one just like it, but when I saw this Beautiful burgundy Contigo mug and after reading all about it, I decided to give it a try. Well, I'm so glad I did, it keeps my coffee hot 5-6 hrs. The lid and handle are one piece, just push the lever at the top of the handle to open and take a sip, (with arthritis I was a little hesitant) but it is much easier than I expected. The mug has a unique lid design you can drink from either side of the cup, whether your right or left handed it will work for you and, the cup lid is spring loaded so when you put your cup down it closes automatically, so no spills. 🥴It is a little spendy but well worth every penny I paid, I absolutely love my new uniquely designed beautiful Contigo Coffee mug and I believe you will to...Mz Sandy K.

Bought four of these for my disabled husband who tends to drop or knock over drinks and break things.These cups are great!! They're durable, unbreakable and they keep the heat and Cold very well .Must press top release button to dispense while drinking. If u cannot do this, pass on these.Could not tell you how many times these have hit the floor, concrete , etc, with no dents or damage.Has been a game changer as I no longer have to worry about messy spills or broken glass. Bought two at first, but soon realized I needed more..bought two more so I can have 2 to wash 2 and use.Comfortable grip easy to use highly recommend if you're in my situation.Dishwasher safe!Side note° may want to buy 2 or 4 as they can get a buildup of scuz in the lid mechanism. Recommend daily cycling through dishwasher. I need one for hot coffee and one for cold water, so I use 4 for sanitary reasons

I bought this to replace my trusty Contigo Randolph which had hit the ground one to many times.....and it's a great travel mug...keeps coffee hot...doesn't leak...and doesn't spill if tipped over.....but...and its a big but...the new design has a totally different mouth feel.The large cross brace in the lid hits your nose when you are drinking....not the most pleasant experience, where the old design had a bowl shape to the lid.Yes, I'm sure I'll get used to it...but now I'm hunting for a used lid on eBay to try and resurrect my old Randolph.Not sure what the designers at Contigo were thinking with this one....

Not gonna lie I buy a new one every year. But that is only cause my ex uses it everyday of the year and at the end of the year the button kinda stops working. But I keeps ice frozen all day in it and dont leak and he absolutely loves it. Contigo are amazing to have and many different styles to fight everyone.

I'd had one of these before, but lost it in a move. I tried a few others and just couldn't go back. Not finding them locally, I scoured the internet until I found it here.I love this mug.There are a few things that I really love about the mug, but are really a matter of preference. The handle is attached to the lid. This is unusual, but I love it.This doesn't keep things *quite* as warm as other, more insulated mugs do. Some people might not like this, but I love this quality because I always tend to find drinks to be too hot. It keeps them warm, but cools off quickly enough for me to drink it.The lock has a lock. The handle has a large button that you have to hold with your thumb to drink. But there's also a switch on the side of the handle that can lock the button closed. This may be annoying for some, but I find it extremely handy for when I'm carrying it around: I don't have to worry about anything bumping that button and causing a spill.The mug is sleek and shiny, but doesn't get covered in fingerprints. It's easy to clean, with a clever mechanism in the lid that opens up and allows you to scrub behind everything. A little tab on top comes off, allowing you to clean the vent too.When I first had this mug, I worked in a very busy environment where it was extremely common for people to knock their mugs over. This one received the same treatment, but never leaked once. The only time I've seen it leak, I had it unlocked (but without the button pressed), held it upside down, and aggressively shook it up and down.

Contigo mugs are my must-haves for mugs. Spill proof and heat retaining for a full morning of teaching!

After a couple of months use, now spurts hot coffee out when finishing the first few sips. Also now only lets a trickle of liquid out. Have cleaned all nooks and crannies. Like auto close and left- handed use. Bought 2 as this was replacment for same one bought in 2018 which still worked well but a bit old with pealing finish.
