I really like the summer sausage. I buy these for birthdays, Fathers Day and Christmas....for special occasions. I would also like to add that after reading reviews on other summer sausage products how much I love THIS brand. I have bought this many, many, many times and have ALWAYS got top notch products from this company and will never buy anything else accept this!! It is THE best!!!

A very, VERY close approximation to the original Hickory Farms Beef Sticks
Very happy with this! It was impossible this past holiday season to find any in local stores that weren't horribly over priced and the size of a hot dog. When I originally ordered, the expected-ship date was several weeks away. As I do when I see this kind of delay, I waited a few days and checked the ship time on the product page to see if it's closer... and it was a two-day delivery, so I ordered again and cancelled the original.All that said, it is a very, VERY close approximation to the original Hickory Farms Beef Sticks I remember from when I was growing up. Taste and texture were great and the expiration was roughly three months out. Overall, it's still a somewhat pricey treat, but it's entirely worth it once in a while :)

"What if we freeze them"
If you ever sold cheeze and sausage as a school fundraiser then you know what I mean.The flavor is mild and the texture is in that sweet spot between chunky and mealy like bologna. The whole mustard seed is a delight.Oliver, his inner voice who occasionally makes a valid point, "What if we freeze them?"Is sold as a triple pack. It's also sold as a single pack. This gets 4 stars because for me the Goldilocks pack is two.

Worse summer sausage ever! Definitely not Hickory Farms
Expecting what I use to buy at the Mall stores at holidays in the Hickory Farms stores. Full of fat, light brown, no robust reddish bright salami look and no aroma. What a waste of money. Thru it out because didn’t know what it was. So disappointed. Glad I just opened to test was excited to try would have never served guests. Guess I need to go back to WEGMAN’s whom I can trust for quality. Very very disappointed.
