Effective cooler
It makes a big difference, temperatures are now lower by around 15-20 degrees (Celsius) depending on application

It actually works
I used this with an Asus Zephyrus G14 (2023).I was a little sceptical how well it could work but I bought this after seeing a YouTuber I trust review it after seeing my laptop reach 90 degrees playing Elden Ring I figured I should at least give it a go.Running the cooler at 1200-1400rpm manages to keep my temps in the mid 60’s, yes it’s a little loud but I think it’s worth it. It can go way higher rpm but I haven’t needed to crank it that high.

Feels cheap but does cool the laptop
The media could not be loaded. I was very surprised when this arrived how light weight and cheap it felt. It’s very plasticky, quite chunky and even the button presses sound cheap. So first impressions are it didn’t feel like something priced at over £120, maybe a quarter of this. It’s powered by an adapter plug which is annoying as means an extra socket, when usb c powered by the laptop would be much better. The lights are somewhat a gimmick as they are around the sides and back and again look cheap. It can get very loud when turned up, this was noticeable through one headset which didn’t have noise cancellation, but only when the fan was about 2500rpm and higher. Anything under 1000rpm is quiet enough. It does cool my laptop and drops the temperature when it’s running crazy hot, which does mean my components are not going to overheat and performance won’t be limited. So it functions as intended but I feel the build quality lacking especially for the price.

Very Quiet And Effective
I can hardly hear the fan noise. My laptop doesn't get hot, even when gaming or using 3D modelling software.

Lightweight but with very effective cooling
The media could not be loaded. I use my 17 inch ROG Strix for gaming as well as work and when gaming I use it on my lap. I have used different coolers over the years with varying success as most seem aimed for use on a desk. This one is lightweight and very comfortable to use. It does have adjustable height legs if you are using it on a desktop as wll as a couple of retaining legs on top if using it at an angle. The fan is variable speed from 300 to 3500 rpm - as the speed increases so does the noise but if you use the foam damping pad not only does it reduce the noice it also improves the airflow through the laptop. In the past I have noticed a decrease in laptop performance on heavy graphics games as the laptop gets hotter but with the cooler set at 2300 rpm the temperature is lowered sufficiently to avoid this issue. It is powered by an external 12V plug and whilst I would have preferred powering it via my laptop I guess the 12v supply is needed for the fan and LED.The RGB lighting can be setup with different colours and modes depending on my mood.Whilst the buttons are a little clunkly when used to adjust the cooler I think the overall build quality is good, it's not cheap but with gaming laptops costing £1500 + then using a cooler to improve performance and extend the CPU life makes the cost look more reasonablw.

Pretty solid laptop cooling pad
The media could not be loaded. While it is not going to win any design awards I like the design of the cooling pad. It is made from black plastic which has a nice matt finish that does not attract finger prints. It feels solid as a rock with no give or flex anywhere on the casing. I really like the contrasting green logo on the centre which is made from a rubber/silicone. The side RGB lighting is tastefully done and stops the thing looking like a big block of plastic. An external power supply is provided which provides power to the unit. A central fan underneath pulls air in and has a foam filter to minimise dust being brought through. A spare filter is provide which I think is pretty good. It is very easy to use with labeled controls and if you want to attached peripheral devices directly to the cooler pad you can with the inbuilt USB-A and USB-C ports. These were really handy to connect a keyboard and mouse avoiding the need to plug them in to the laptop. A nice feature. The fan can get noisy when it's at high speed. Not unexpected and the speed and be dialled down to suit your needs. While not a gaming laptop the cooler pad was pretty effective at cooling the underside of my MacBook during a prolonged video encoding session.Overall, a perfectly usable laptop cooling pad that from a visual point of view looks pretty good in my opinion.

Functional but grossly overpriced
The media could not be loaded. The Llano V10 Gaming Laptop Cooling Pad is a good way to cool your laptop, especially if you’re a gamer and are a fan of the “gaming look”.My Dell XPS 15 does overheat when doing particularly strenuous tasks, especially while gaming and given it is quite thin it doesn’t have the best internal cooling. So this cooling pad with its 4.72” fan does do a very good job of keeping my laptop nice and cool. Being marketed at the gaming sector it of course has an aggressive look with some “in your face” RGB lighting, which depending on your personal style you’ll either love or hate, for me it’s a tad over the top.Whilst it feels relatively well made It is very plasticky, it’s quite light and hollow feeling and the buttons have a cheap clunky feeling and are quite loud. If used at the maximum 3500rpm it’s also quite loud, but I didn’t feel the need to go quite that high while using it. You get a foam insert to place on the pad to cushion your laptop and some additional pads for smaller laptops. It has 3 height settings which are great for find the perfect height depending on your desk setup and the rear filter can also be removed for cleaning and it does come with a spare as well as a USB-A to USB-C cable. The rear features a USB-C in and then a USB-C and 2 USB-A out ports so you can expand your number of USB ports and plug in and external keyboard, mouse, headset etc directly to the cooling pad.The price though is quite absurd, it’s way too expensive for what it is (essentially a single fan in a plastic box with some RGB lights). Don’t get me wrong it’s functional and does a good job at what it does, but personally I’d struggle to justify even half the price they’re asking. Perhaps if the overall construction was more premium feeling, especially the buttons, I might be able to justify it, but as it is I cannot.
