Frankly I thought because of the color it was a DeWalt tool but it's ok, it actually takes same 20V batteries from my other DeWalt tools and worked perfectly.

Loved it at first. After a few months of moderate use, the blades no longer seem to move as much and therefore don't cut well. I've tried cleaning and adding some lubricant but something is not quite right. Still trying to figure out how to fix it...Update: Can't be fixed. It's a throwaway. Don't buy this!

The description does not say battery not included it only says compatible with , very horrible way to get someone to buy something, to buy something else or it won't work. The picture shows the battery but a little faded.

Using this trimmer for my small hedges and rose bushes. Perfect for quick touch-ups and thin branches. Won't handle thick stems but makes light yard work much easier. Very lightweight and the head rotates nicely. Stores compactly. Remember — needs a DeWalt battery.

It does surprisingly well for edging the lawn but not so much for a mature hedge.
