I bought this to give to my 4 year old granddaughter and she LOVES it! She has had so much fun playing with this doll. I was unfamiliar with the dolls until this purchase, but she knew exactly what it was and was so excited to open it up. Great gift!

I love a couple things about this.1. It has a fun/interactive reveal.2. It has no batteries, does not make noise, or cause overstimulation (for me, the mom) like many toys do.3. My kiddo loves the doll itself. She has soft hair, is colorful, and is cutely dressed.The only con I can think of... is that I cannot get over how funky these dolls look. I get it, they aren't "humans". But man, do I think they look funny.

My daughter LOVES these things. All things Magic Mixies, Mixlings, Pixlings. They are crazy cute, well made and great colors. She loves the reveal process for the Pixlings and gets excited when they appear every time. We are careful to do the reveal process on a plastic plate as the water gets into the center container sometimes and can leak/spill as you remove it. I assume the water will stain, but we've been careful so never tested it. The only, ONLY reason it is 4 stars instead of the 5 is that the plastic container and it's components are not recyclable. There us a lot of container that is landfill only. I've been backing off on encouraging my daughter to get these because of that. You can't get the doll without adding all that plastic to the landfill for each one. We could do without the reveal if it was better for the environment and could tolerate it more if it was at least recyclable. She gets them as gifts still, but we are trying to find something else without such an negative impact.
