Received December 31, review dated April 11. I've used this rip stick roughly half the time since received. I have to say products like these really do help for people like me with bad palms who can't really do pushups or bench press. I've invested in an array of resistance products and this is one of the best, if not the best. There's a YouTube video out there that's about 8 minutes long. It looks like the guy is in a break room or locker room. It's a different stick, but all the techniques can be used with this rip stick. There are hundreds of other videos out there, but his is thorough and he goes thru reps of 20 with 5 or 6 exercises you can do. It's crazy the amount of burn you feel after a set of reps, I mean you feel everywhere that was worked out. Resistance training is on the rise. I haven't broken any bands yet with this stick, unlike the cheaply made stick that I had prior.. it includes 2 sets of bands for each resistance strength. The day will come when I will break them all. Then I will be able to say I've arrived. Only drawback to my rip stick is what's shown on the picture. It looks like they used electrical tape to bind the grips, and mine is beginning to wear. I will at some point replace it with gorilla tape. But I think that's what should've been used in the first place. This product is too premium to just close it out with electrical tape. Reengineering could be useful in that aspect. Otherwise this is probably your best option for a rip stick. The bands stay in place when done using it. They haven't slipped off at all for me.

I love this product, the bands are super durable and they helped gain an extra 5 pounds of muscle!

Convenient at work

I bought two of these and I really enjoyed them for the first week. The quality is terrible and the tape falls off of the two aluminum handles after about a week and a half. I use it daily but that’s what it’s for. The bands are poor quality And once you stretch them, they’re no good. There are other better options available. I tried to contact the sellers and receive no response.

I tried the cheaper wood versions and the bands slide easily...plus the wood will certainly degrade over time (and eventually split). I would rather only have to worry about the bands snapping at some point than both the bands and handles lol. The grips started falling off day 2, but I didn't really want them in the first place (wish the metal had some stippling instead). There is another alloy/metal version, but this set was cheaper plus it comes with 2-4x the number of bands that most include, plus these bands don't just look like generic ranger bands or thick rubberbands, so they should have more longevity. These bands definitely deliver in terms of building up those stabilizers. Extremely portable and an easy way to workout whenever you have your hands free (meetings, watching TV, road trips, etc).

I love this product! It has 3 different bands.It's the best Rip Stick,I've ever brought! Handles are thin enough for one ,to grab hold of n exercise! Id recommended this product to all workout enthusiastic people. You can work out home,your job,on the train. You put it in your bag,purse or back pocket and your ready to go!
