Excellent Water System!
**2022 UPDATE**The head unit started leaking outside through one of the screws on top. Definitely a crack of some sort. I called support to ask if there was anything I can do to fix it and Nick said they would replace the unit entirely.I was floored at the level of customer service. You literally do not get this kind of care/support anywhere. Thanks goes to Nick and the iSpring team!First off, shout out to Don who works at ispring for helping me out.TL;DR - Great Unit, Don at iSpring was extremely excellent, if I had a chance to do-over, i might have gone for the bigger unit (most likely will if I ever replace this one)I bought this unit in 2019, but didn't install it until I moved into my current house. Boy oh boy was it a nightmare getting in. I'm a DIYer and love a good challenge. I'll spare my details, but basically I had to change where I mounted it because of the location of the water line coming in and the space around it.Note* I did not install a bypass, but rather an inline-leg. So to change the filters I have to shut the water off at the house. I'm fine with that, but others may not be.Once installed tho, the water chambers filled nicely. Water started flowing. About 2 mins later, the unit started leaking at the in/out female connector. That was my fault, not enough Teflon. But the male/male connectors in between also started dripping.I called support and spoke with Don who was very informative and helpful. He suggested different Teflon (Blue Monster - excellent stuff more on that later). He was also shocked about the leak in between the filters so he said he would send a replacement head unit.Unit arrived and unfortunately it was a new model type where the filters were closer together so I had to cut my pipe up a bit to make it fit.Teflon Blue Monster, YMMV, but I put 6 wraps on it and put the male connector in, then backed it out to put 4 more wraps on it. The 6 wraps formed this nice plastic sheath/coating on the male connector so I knew it would make an excellent seal this time (the original Teflon I used was like 4 wraps of cheap lowes stuff, and it disintegrated as it came out).New unit in place, turn the water back on. No leaks on the in/out connection. However, the male/male connector in between the filter did start to have water form up. I took pictures and sent them over to Don.I opted for compensation of 1 set of new filters as I would rather not have to install another head unit.IF/When the leak progresses , I'll see if I can wrap the connector units with blue monster as well.Water taste is great, I love that it's 0 waste and the whole house has nice clean water. It's so comforting to know that even my toilets are filled with purified filtered gold.Hopefully this is helpful. If you take nothing else away, know that my case is unique. I don't think it happens often. But iSpring WILL take very good care of you.

Excellent system
I bought this system to clean up the smell, taste of the city water coming through my faucets and shower head. Installation was easy. Follow and read the instructions. The hardest part was where to mount it.Wow! I have been really impressed at how well this system works. The showers now are amazing. My skin no longer has the tightness after showering. Most likely from the water treatment before entering my house. I really decided on this system after replacing a two year old shower faucet. It had lots of corrosion on the brass. Again, most likely from the chemicals from the water treatment before entering my house. I highly recommend this system for anyone looking. Im running around the house like Adam Sandler in the Water Boy - in Bobby Boucher voice “that’s some high quality h20 coming from the faucets”. 🤣😂 I’m looking forward to many years of use from this system, with proper filter changes of course.I did have one small issue. I called and spoke to Nick. I’m glad he answered because he is very professional and handled the issue fast and easy. Thanks Nick 🤝

Great 3 stage filtration system at a great price!
What a great filtration system!!! I bought this one 3 years ago and before this one, I had the same one at my previous home. Works great!! Water tastes so much better and even looks better in a glass! I've called iSpring a few times over the years and Nick (at iSpring) has always been a big help. Thanks Nick for great customer service and making a great filtration system!!!

Works as expected
Overall I am very happy with this purchase. We live under 20 miles from the Ohio train derailment so as an added precaution, adding an inline whole house water filter just makes sense. Our drinking and cooking water has always come from a 5 stage reverse osmosis system and this 3 stage filter shares the same types of filters as the first 3 stages of our reverse osmosis system (minus the actual reverse osmosis membrane and post filter). The good...Shares same first 3 stages of filtration as the reverse osmosis systems.Ease of installation for me was pretty easy but that will absolutely depend on the installers abilities as well as access to your main water line. Fortunately for me, the house once had a water softener so there was a bypass valve already in place. I simply had to tie the filter in and open the valve.Tap water tastes fine but again, this is going to be subjective. I am used to reverse osmosis water and I intend to continue using reverse osmosis for drinking. As with any inline filter, everything downstream should benefit including water heater and appliances.Another benefit is that my reverse osmosis systems are essentially 8 stages instead of 5 and I expect the filters to last longer so there should be a little bit of savings in that aspect.Filters are relatively inexpensive and readily available. The bad...My only complaint is somewhat trivial. I plumbed my water into this unit with PVC. I used a 90 degree adapter right at the filter inlet and outlet. The metal frame of the unit was in the way of being able to fully tighten the fittings and had to be removed, then reinstalled once fittings were in.If you use PVC, DO NOT use Teflon tape. It will leak! Instructions say to use 2-15 wraps of teflon tape. Just use thread sealant and save yourself the headache.Overall... I'm happy with the unit. Just a little reassurance that your water is being filtered, sediment, chlorine and other items are being removed/reduced. I expect appliances to last a bit longer, the water to be a bit healthier and to that, there really is no downside.
