Works well.
We bought this to use while our kitchen was refitted and we’d have been lost without it. It was great value for money and served it’s purpose well.

Love it ..
I got my food on the go about 20 mins after receiving this. Very easy to operate and love the timer function. It looks very nice and sits on top of my non working hob so I can use my extractor fan when using this . I also bought a couple of pans to use ( induction pans) I can't fault this and would recommend.

Not Designed By A Cook
I bought this induction hob for the lockdown period. Only reason I didn't send it back was because I needed to isolate, and so I couldn't be without something to cook on.The product is frankly dangerous; I've seen the seller's stock replies where they say there is a +-20 degree variance on the temperature settings – rubbish!I put it on 60 degrees to start with, because at this setting it goes straight to well over 100 degrees in practice. Hot contents start to spit out of the pan; you could easy burn yourself or a small child if you had one nearby. After a couple of minutes, it will settle at approximately the set temperature. Then you notch it up to 90, and it boils violently again, until it settles at 90. Then you go 120, and after a couple of minutes it seems to settle at less than 100.The temperatures are not as expected and not consistent. Further, there is no 100 degree setting; it is impossible to simmer using this hob, which is the main reason I state 'Not Designed By A Cook'. This is massive oversight in a cooking device. Best I could do was put the pan off to the side of the ring, so that one side gets really hot and you get an overall simmer of sorts; but you get the side of the pan getting so hot it goes red, and a load of burnt food on that side. Most cooking is going to be done at under to just over 100 degrees, and most of that around 100; well most of mine is. Occasionally you want higher, e.g. searing meat and making flatbreads etc..Considering this, the steps of 60, 90, 120, 140, 160, 180, 200, 220, 240 are poorly thought-out; there needs to be smaller increments at the lower end of the scale than at the higher end, since this is where you really need your fine control.Another issue is that the heat does not come 'through'; the base of the pan gets hot, but it's not like gas or regular electric rings where the heat rises up through the food. So you get uneven cooking. No frittatas on this hob... the egg is liquid at the top whilst cooked and burned at the bottom.Positive points: It heats up liquids fast. It reheats soups and curries fast. Cooks meats ok (though again 120 is often too high). Cooks flatbreads well.In summary, I use it for what I can use it for. Couldn't cook my curries on this though, so I bought a slow cooker.Final point: It's pretty noisy and I can't listen to it for long periods; another I'm reason I'm glad for the slow cooker.Closing thought: I don't know who's writing these 5* reviews.

It’s died..
Well it lasted 2 yrs 4 month, something has failed inside, put pan of water on ready to put some veggies in and could smell something was wrong within a minute, plastic type burning odour, always used same pan with this hob, i have given it 4⭐️ because it has worked perfect up until it passed away😂, can’t expect it to last forever and for the price it lasted nearly 2.5 years…😉
