works well with my dremel
I do a lot of work with my dremel. Having these available makes it easy to keep working because they do the job instead of buying them.one at a time. the unit cost is way less than buying them individually at the big box stores.

These work well enough for the price
Review of the Ridge Products Store 10 Ct 25mm Diamond Cutting Wheels with 2 Replacement MandrelsRating: ★★★★☆ (4/5)I recently purchased the Ridge Products Store 10 Ct 25mm Diamond Cutting Wheels, and I must say, they are a remarkable addition to my rotary tool accessories. Designed for cutting through materials like glass, tile, stone, and tungsten, these diamond discs deliver impressive performance, making them a valuable investment for both DIY enthusiasts and professionals alike.Quality and Durability: The first thing I noticed upon unboxing was the robust build quality of these cutting wheels. The diamond coating appears to be evenly distributed, suggesting that they should offer a decent service life when cutting various materials. During my initial tests, the discs exhibited minimal wear, even after cutting through tough porcelain tiles. I was pleasantly surprised to find that they are much less prone to chipping compared to traditional metal cutting wheels.Performance: The 25mm size is ideal for precision work, allowing for intricate cuts without compromising on accuracy. I tested these discs on glass and stone, and they performed exceptionally well. They provided clean cuts with very little effort, significantly reducing the time needed for each project. The two replacement mandrels included in the package were a thoughtful addition, ensuring that I wouldn't have to stop mid-project due to equipment failure.Ease of Use: Installation was straightforward, and the wheels fit securely onto my rotary tool. I appreciated the lightweight design, which contributed to less fatigue during extended use. The discs also have a smooth cutting action, which is crucial when working with delicate materials like glass. This allowed me to focus more on the details of my work without worrying about the tool skipping or causing undesirable cracks.Versatility: These diamond cutting wheels are designed to handle various materials, and I found them capable of cutting through everything I encountered. From small glass tiles to thicker stone pieces, they delivered consistent results. This versatility makes them a fantastic choice for those who tackle a variety of home improvement tasks.Areas for Improvement: While I was generally pleased with their performance, I did notice that the discs can get a bit hot during extended cutting sessions. It’s advisable to take periodic breaks to avoid overheating, which could shorten the lifespan of the wheels. Additionally, while 10 wheels may seem like a generous quantity, I found myself quickly reaching for additional discs as projects progressed, so a larger pack might be worth considering for heavy users. Conclusion: Overall, the Ridge Products Store 10 Ct 25mm Diamond Cutting Wheels with 2 Replacement Mandrels stand out for their quality, performance, and versatility. They are an excellent choice for anyone looking to add reliable cutting tools to their arsenal. With only a few minor improvements needed to enhance heat management, I would highly recommend these wheels to fellow DIYers and professionals alike. Whether you’re cutting tile for a bathroom renovation or crafting intricate glass art, these diamond discs will not disappoint.

They are great for grinding... cutting, not so much
I had high hopes for these wheels. Anyone that uses a Dremel tool is familiar with the thin oxide discs that came with your tool. They cut through metal well, but the thin disks wear down quickly and they shatter - sending bits ot sharp carbide towards your eyes at high speed. You can get a fiberglass-backed disk that is more robust, but they're expensive and sometimes hard to find. These look well-made and thick enough that they might hold together.Well, let's get to it. The disks are packaged in a plastic sleeve with sealed individual pockets for each one. You'll need a knife to cut one loose before you can use it. I also cut loose one of the two mandrels and assembled them together. When I got to my rotary tool, I discovered that the supplied mandrels are of a smaller diameter than the ones I generally use. Not SUCH a big diference, but enough that I would have to change to my smaller collet. After a quick search, I discovered that that particular collet had likely left the garage for a better place. I had to put the new disk on one of my regular mandrels. Although the diameter of my screw was smaller, my mandrel held the disk in place so I was ready to rock n roll.So.....what should I sacrifice to the science gods for the purposes of this review? I'm going to have to CUT something - preferably something metal. Reaching into my pocket, I pulled out a quarter. Perfect.Off to the workbench! I put the sacrificial quarter in the vise. I found my safety glasses and put them on (my momma didn't raise a fool) and I went to work on the quarter with my Dremel at high speed, intending to cut a pie-sliced chunk from what was once legal tender.Wait. Nothing's happening. The quarter is almost untouched. I move to max speed and hit it again. Nope. Still not working. I can't even make a nick in the edge of the quarter. I shut down the tool and take a careful look at the disk. The edge is smooth. Okay, but so are the metal oxide shrapnel-throwing disks. This disk won't cut a quarter. After multiple tries, I've made about a sixteenth of an inch dent in one edge. I'm disappointed, but I'm still inquisitive. What about the diamond (?) encrusted face of this disk? Is it maybe a grinder instead of a cutter?Back to the workbench, the vise and its captive quarter. Hitting the quarter from both sides like a grinder, I'm able to put a knife edge on our coin in a matter of seconds. Cool. These disks grind very well. They don't, however, cut metal. I'm sure I'll find a use for these, but they're not going to be as useful as could be.
