Great little light and stays on my hat
Great little light. It is lightweight enough that I don't even feel it on hat. First use was a few hours and the light was still bright, so not sure how long they will hold a charge. I like the multiple light modes, spot and area, and brighter and dimmer. Good addition to the garage work arsenal.

Love this light
I bought 2 of these for my husband since he couldn’t find the one he had and will be doing some work that a light like this would make easier. Of course, after they arrived, he found the one that was misplaced. But he likes the new ones much better. They are smaller and lighter, but brighter. The motion detector feature and ability to be recharged are bonuses! Highly recommend this light.UPDATE! Love these lights even more. My husband accidentally knocked the light off of his cap without noticing where it fell. When we went to look for it, it was nowhere to be found. After a couple of months of “Weather” including a few snowstorms he found it during a January melt. It had fallen light down in the dirt and amazingly, the light was still on! Some battery power for sure! Recommend this light even more now!

pretty good hat-clip light, options, features.
decent, useful light modes.. the red isn't much use, even less is the flashing red..and there's not much difference betweenthe bright modes.. i mean, there's bright, not quite so bright, then a diffuse bright (cob led's not spot led's) then red, then flashing red. They should have added a 1-lumenmode or, since the light dims smoothly from one mode to the next (cute, but not important) they might've programmed in a continuous dimming mode, high to very low. That said, the infrared motion-detectorfeature WORKS in ALL modes... (white/red/flash,dim, etc) I don't think theymentioned that trick. Just press the button for 2-3 seconds in ANY mode to make that mode motion-activated. Motion-sensing is a great feature for hands-free, except it turns off too easily.. not a big deal.. Also motion-sending mode uses power (infrared LED ison as long as motion-sense is working..Meaning you 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 run your battery down(how many hours??) while the light is OFF, but motion sense is ON. Just a consideration. The sensor range is short (about 5-10 inches- 10-20cm), but you could use this light featurefor some tricky things.. alarm on a door, for example: Door opens, light goes on, intruder startled, sleeping person wakes and takesevasive action-- bucket of iced vinegar to help deter and later catch smelly intruder. Also this light is a bit blocky and chunky, ie, not as compact or streamlined as it should be. This makes it more likely to get snaggedor caught on something and whipped off the hat brim-and if that motion turns it "off", youhave to find it in the dark with only the tinyinfrared led to guide you-- if it's aimed toward you. Also the clip is about the size of a thumbnail, and easy to overwhelm with a flick of a twig or sweater.. But on the positive side, it's a good tricky light for only 18 dollars when other brands are closer to 30.

Light weight-hands free
This was a nice little surprise. It is light weight and out of the way when mounted on top of the cap brim. The hands-free feature is really nice to have and works fine. Instructions are a bit lacking but enough to get things working. Learning curve is small. I have not used this to the point of needing a recharge. But so far, it's all good. One year follow-up: This little light has held up well. It is now missing the charging port cover. But that is really NBD. I get at least a week of walk time out of it before it needs a charge. It does provide a hint that it is getting time to charge up as the light pattern shrinks and dims before it just quits. It did that tonight about halfway through my 3/4-mile walk. I got to thinking today that these are so inexpensive and light weight that I could easily carry a back-up on my belt. But that would be in cases where there were long exposure/walk times in very dark conditions. For my own daily experience, I use the proximity set-up and just fan the light on and off as needed. I have also noticed that the light is very effective in illuminating reflective materials like bug eyes, cat eyes, and street signs. So, I believe this would be very useful for hunters who use reflective materials as trail markers for early morning trips to the tree stand and evening walk outs.

Works well
I walk in the morning at 5 am. It's dark. I use the outside flood lights. I also place it on top of the brim. Under has too much glare...the flood lights are perfect for lighting the street. Very happy with this purchase.

Nice cap light, but NOT waterproof
I bought this light to use in our yacht club's Fall race series when we get back to the dock after sunset. After the second race, I was reaching over for a dock line and snagged the light on the lifeline. It fell into the water and one of my crew reached in and retrieved it. It was easy to grab it because it did float and the blue light in the switch made it easy to spot. The light did actually continue to work some, but it's operation was irregular. During the next days, it would only work briefly immediately after a recharge. Then it stopped working entirely. When I tried contacting the vendor, it was 31 day after purchase and too late to return. I liked the simple operation of this light and the ability to choose between flood or spot light. The motion detector option was convenient. I'll probably order another one and just try to keep it dry.

Great hands free light
I didn't realize how much I liked this little light until I lost mine. I immediately bought a new one. I work in a ton of dark small spaces and this light is exactly what I need for it. Also very bright and the charge last a long time. Thinking about getting another one as a backup. Just in case because I use it that much. The green on it makes it easy to find too.

Great value for the price point
It works very well, nice and bright for walking at night, reading, ice fishing, or for working on things when you need both hands, the charge seems to last quite awhile too with the rechargeable battery being a nice bonus. Beats changing batteries all the time. It’s a bit bulky and is a bit obstructing when it’s placed Nader the brim of your hat but I use it mainly on top of the brim. When reading at night by the fire I place it in the bottom of the brim and then you can put it in a tilt position so you can aim the light exactly where you want it. All in all very happy with my purchase and for the price point you can’t go wrong 👍😊 I’ll be ordering another one soonJanuary 27/2021 an update on my purchase, the original light developed a problem and the supplier took care of the issue very quickly, I had a new no charge replacement sent to me within days of asking for warranty assistance. I’m very happy with the care and warranty service that the seller provided, definitely two thumbs up service 👍👍
