Exactly what I was looking for
This came in so handy when I was traveling for a month this summer. I am really trying to lose weight and make sure I get some workout in every day. That is not easy when you are traveling. I managed to fill each round pouch up to about 3 lbs. They aren't easy to fill, which is why I am only giving it 4 stars. However, I got a great workout in with these. You don't have to attach the pouches to the bars, so you can do all sorts of exercises that you use weights with like sit-ups, squats, lunges etc. I will be taking these with me on every vacation now.

Did exactly what I wanted them for.
I bought these because I had to travel on a plane and could not take my regular dumbells. These made it through security and were easy to pack in a small over night bag. They are not at all hard to fill up with water, just turn on the faucet with a very thin stream of water and they'll fill up in no time. I filled up 4 of the weights completely with water and the other 4 with about 1/2 to make a 15-17 lb dumbbell, the rods are very sturdy. They work perfect! When I don't need them anymore I just drain them and let them dry. Thank you!

The good and the not so good!
First the good, compact and therefore good for travel. The not so good, they are difficult at best to fill without water spilling out as you try and close the filler neck plug. Back on the good side, they definitely do not leak! Last, back on the bad side, after emptying it takes a very, very, very long time for all the water you can't squeeze out to evaporate.

They leaked as soon as I filled them
I thought I could bring these with me when I traveled but I filled one and left it on my coffee table, when I woke up the next morning there was water all over it. I returned them.

Great concept however a huge pain
I so wanted to love these but they were a major pAin to fill and put together, ended up donating to the good will! On the positive they seem to be fairly well made

Five star
I was always looking for a good dumbbells that could be adjusted and easy to use and most of them are clumsy and complex. Since I found this, which is perfect for me and fit the weight I can exercise, I feel a sense of cool also because water inside, During this summer, no question that is a good choice.

Overall, I like them.
Good weight to them. They are hilariously big though. Nice that it doesn't damage things when you bump into them or set it down to fast, etc. Overall, I like them.

convenience
When I purchase water filled dumbbells years ago they were easy fill light plastic snells, a much better choice in my opinion than these water bags.....
