TacxT1708 Trainer M12X1, 75 E Thru 179, 5 mm – Black, One Size

Delighted with this I was looking for a long time to get a skewer to fit and this does I’m delighted with it ..

This is a good design, but a lack of instructions with it and the Tacx Boost made it hard to figure out fitting, as it appears to be too long. The solution is on Tacx Garmin website (see pic).Above comment saying you need to cut (I also have a Domane) is wrong, sorry mate.

I had to cut this down a bit to fit my Trek Domane bike, but luckily there is a good length of threaded section to work with. The spacers provided are handy, but an additional thinner one would give more thickness combinations to work with.

As the other guys have pointed out, this axle doesn't fit the TACX Flow Smart trainer without adjustments - it's about 2mm too long. I find this disappointing when paying nearly £30 for a piece of machined aluminium which is advertised as Flow Smart compatible.Luckily being aluminium it is easily trimmed down to a size that fits the trainer. Not aware of any other compatible axles so not a lot of choice.

I used this for my bike while traveling and had only a basic trainer. Fit perfectly and held me stabile. Just be sure to make sure you order the correct one by length and threading.

Horrible company to work with. Especially these days where people return things on a daily basis. The thru axle wouldn't work on my trainer with my new bike frame. I returned it and have been waiting for six months for my refund. Amazon hasn't done much either. Nothing wrong with the product, just crummy customer service. Don't recommend ordering from them. This is not a company I would support given how they treat customers.
