This is the best coffee I've ever had. Strong flavor yet very smooth. My favorite espresso coffee for all time. Highly recommended.

I've spent a fortunate to get a decently strong cup of coffee and finally.... ta da... I've found it! My search has ended with this purchase! I love this coffee. I put my water on the medium level and this is a good strong bold cup of coffee.. not bitter.. but strong, ample. All the others were just too weak even at the lowest water setting level. Not bad, just not what I wanted. If all the other pods you've purchased just leave you feeling like you got a watery cup of coffee... guaranteed this one won't. While it's a bit more than I can get the other brands for, even Cotsco's Pacific, I still prefer this one as the one I want to wake up to in the mornings. My husband prefers weak coffee.... and I like mine a little bolder. I just used the full highest level of water and this coffee is still good. Now, that will save me money in the long run because on all the others I've been having to use the lowest level just to get a cup that's acceptable. Now I will get three times as much... or the highest level and largest cup with just one pod. Yummmm.... So, if you've been looking like me... cut to the chase and try this one next.

Since receiving my Keurig coffee maker for Christmas I have already gone through 176 K-cups of varying roasts from 8 different brands and I have to say that the Rainforest Extra Bold Espresso is by far the boldest, smoothest tasting coffee I have enjoyed. Like previous reviewers, I also can attest to the absence of a bitter aftertaste, which is a real delight. Another thing I noticed is when I watch the coffee dispense from the Keurig brewer, the stream of coffee is consistently dark in color from start to finish of the brew cycle. This observation set my engineering brain on a quest to find out why! Succintly stated, it is because Timothy's puts more coffee in the K-cups. This in conjunction with the superb roasting of this coffee, and its delightful flavor make this selection my hands down favorite so far. I will also add that the product I received from Amazon was marked with a use-by date of June 2010 -- still very fresh! I consider it a best buy and definitely recommend it for the bold-roast coffee lovers in the crowd.
