Love using in soups. Just throw it in no prep no mess. Doc put me on keto diet so easy to get needed protein FAST! NO SALT ADDED so great for Hubby who is low sodium. Also since the only ingredient is chicken great treat for cats or what we call "magic pill powder". We put pill in pill pocket or lil' cat soups and sprinkle chicken powder (or beef...we like that one too) on top. Cats love it. It's safe, healthy, human grade food. 1 ingredient. (Not to replace cats daily food. Only as treat.) Oh...it does help our cat eat his regular cat food. Love the 25 year shelf life. I think once it's open it's good for a year? I need to ask that.

This is an excellent product with multiple uses!I initially used this to supplement an aging animal's food intake. (I had also read that these could also be used as dog training treats/tools, most pieces are of substantial size to do so). But surprising to me was that I added it to a couple different soups for the humans in the pack and that added both protein and bulk to soups. The flavor was fairly neutral so that you Could season it anyway you chose or not. I will continue to purchase Nutristore.It is an excellent product!

This product is essential to be prepared for anything that may arise. Although pricey, this 4-pack is still a better value than the other name brand.

I've been wanting to try to make my own dehydrated soups with some dehydrated chicken. It worked out really nicely. Only thing I would change is how I prepared it. It took a little longer to hydrate than I thought it would. But being unfamiliar it was a learning curve for me. The pieces of chicken are just the right size. It had a nice light flavor and fit into my normal cooking pretty good. I can't wait to incorporate it into more things. Wishing it was a bit cheaper I would buy it far more often.
