I purchased this camera to pair with an outdoor camera and wanted to make sure the app was the same. I've tried several other brands in the past including Ring and Yi/Yi Home. Both want monthly subscriptions and limit the use of the camera without it. This series of camera is the first I've purchased that does everything I want without having to pay for the subscription or some other device to make it work. The camera itself is barely the size of a coffee cup and looks like an air freshener. The sd card slot is easy to load and eject from, and also included mounting hardware for wall mounting. The power source is usb-c with a decent length cord (about 4 feet). Once powered on the camera jumps right into pairing mode without any resetting or fiddling. The software is simple with controls for ptz and recording on the front hud. The gimbal is smooth, and the picture is incredible for an indoor camera. Again, one of the best features is how functional this camera is without ANY additional cost. There is a cloud option if you choose, but it's not forced upon you with ads. Even without a sd card the camera works perfectly as a room monitor. You can even screenshot and save to your phone without an SD present. It also includes motion tracking, human detection, siren, and a recording schedule. The only thing I've found to fault this camera with is the usb cord length, which is an easy fix. Highly recommended especially if you're using multiple cameras.

Easy setup excellent visibility and sound quality

***Update after several weeks of use. Still great cameras, better camera pictures in the day time. Night time is ok, but not as good. To improve the camera pictures at night you must keep a light on or a lamp in use. Simply does not perform well in pitch darkness. I could barely see my dogs using the night vision. Also, the camera cords are extremely short, limiting the placement of the unit. That’s disappointing to say the least and during power outages, the cameras do not reboot or reconnect on their own when the power is restored. The cameras will give a loud message telling you that the camera is offline until you go back through the procedure using the app to get it back online. It won’t stop the messages until you unplug the camera or reboot it, which is annoying. Nevertheless, still a great buy for the money.Original post*****Just got these a couple of days ago and I’m surprised at how good they are. Needed to monitor my dogs while I was at work and didn’t expect much from the product. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the setup was and how clear the videos are. The night vision is good and the talk speaker actually works. I was so impressed, I ordered more and now have a total of 7, one in each room. Well worth the money for a peace of mind. I’ll give an update later on down the road, I hope that they last for quite a while.

This was a really good deal. I was surprised that the camera swivels around remotely. The picture quality is great too. it gives you color video. it connects to your Wi-Fi and you download the app and is as simple as that. and it speaks to tell you that it’s ready to connect.

Even though it is a Indoor Camera I have used it for outside monitoring from inside. Great for nighttime use with awesome quality, the Footage can be viewed on the app. (I am a real person living in Garland, Texas Tom O)It has the pan/tilt rotation. Like these cameras but they don’t have the inferred image which is nice for night time. If you want them for night time through the window you’ll have a horrible glare so it doesn’t do anything for you when there’s light. If just for in the house for when your gone and you want to keep and eye on your kids or pets then it’s good. You do have to pay for a subscription to be able to record if you want to do so if not then you go on the app and get live feed. It’s very easy to use and connect to WiFi and it plugs into the all so there not much to it. Not bad price for the little stuff it does. You are able to move it around too and I like that so it’s not just in one place.

The SD card slot was defective. Tried several different SD cards. None would stay seated in the slot. To have any record function I'd be forced to subscribe to the cloud service, even though I'd already paid for an SD card. What's worse: The seller completely ignored my request for support. Be wary.UPDATE: It's been over 2 weeks since I reached out to this seller for support. Still haven't heard back despite multiple attempts. AVOID this seller.
