Phone Fell Off
The phone flew out of the mount when I went over a big bump entering a bridge. It nearly caused an accident. The quick-release lever on the back of the mount popped open allowing the adjustable phone holder to spin open. I have since modified the mount with a strip of duct tape to hold the clip down. (If I had a drill and a paper clip pin I would secure it so that the flip could not, even under the most rugged terrain, pop open). As an extra security precaution, I now have a dongle that I slide over the mirror of the bike, but I have not had any trouble since I started using the tape. See photos.Truthfully, it is a decent mount, but I would not buy it again unless the manufacture made a professional redesign. I have not owned any other mounts so I cannot make any recommendations as to what is better on the market, however, I have seen other mounts that look a bit more sturdy with metal chassis and more flexiblity in where you can place the phone for viewing.
