Easy to use for technophobes, hard of hearing, near sighted, and arthritic fingers
My mother loves the big easy to read buttons for dialing; she can hear the phone ring and actually hear voice. The phone is so easy to answer and end a call by opening and closing the flip phone. It has a long battery life, and she recharges the phone in the convenient cradle that is kept next to the landline. The phone is unlocked; she uses the pay as you go regular size T Mobile SIM card. She lives in an area with poor reception and this phone has good reception. I just bought it for my mother so I don't know about durability. (My iPhone XS was totally intimidating-unlocking the phone, dialing, answering, and ending a call were unteachable particularly in light of pressing the wrong button and having something else appear.)

Failing Eyes
My mom loves it. Her eyesight is failing and the size of the numbers is great for her.

Great Flip-phone
The phone was purchased for my brother-in-law,he previously had a phone which was too complicated...(his first cellphone ever). After the phone arrived, I had set it up for him...I myself was quite impressed with all the features, the options within each category;its an all round user friendly phone. My brother-in-law is very happy with it and has had no issues...which is a major plus.thanks

Good aesthetics, average build, very good cust. service.
Decent design, but the phone felt light and like it was made of sub-par materials.Speaker krackled when the volume was turned up more than halfway. In any case, never really got beyond that as the phone would not accept the simcard I had (no faultof the phones). Customer service was very quick to respond and offer to help.

Charging Station does not work
Cell phone arrived today as Christmas gift for my 85 year old father. The whole reason why I picked this phone was because it had charging station--with his arthritis in his hands he cannot manage the plug. Unfortunately, charging station does not work so phone is useless. This is so disappointing.

Don’t buy (in my opinion)!
Bought this phone for my 80 year old Mom. She used it one month and then switched back to her old phone. When she was on the line with someone else, she sounded like a robot. Sometimes had to hang up and call back about 3 times. I wouldn’t buy it again.

splendid little phone
My wife is the least computerate person I know and only came to the world of cellphones when we sourced an Amplicon with large buttons. Its battery died and rather than replacing it we decided to go for the Voca as it is smaller and easier to use.Setting up the various ringtones for the phone and texts is easy once one realises that each individual line has to be saved. Many people make the mistake of doing the changes and assuming that a final Save will fix them - it loses all but the last! The Voca help desk comes back within 24 hours and answered all my queries apart from how to link to the internet. Indeed I still wait for their answer. In the meantime I found a manual for the Doro flip phone and saw that my problem was that I had failed to 'profile' my internet setting with info like the Account Name and APN.This makes me think that the Voca range and Doro range may actually be similar phones with different brandings. If they are then the Doro might offer better prices and different specs. This I cannot confirm - so if you want to play safe you should buy the same Voca that I bought. It charges perfectly well on its cradle and does everything one could want in respect of phone calls and texts. It is also comfortable to use - unlike the run of the mill Samsung smart phone which my wife rejected when I offered it to her.Totally recommended.

Great flip phone for those tired of using reading glasses with their smartphone
I bought this product because I like the design of clamshell phones. I down graded from my HTC desire and I have not been disappointed. The compact unit fits into my pocket and palm of my hand. The external display tells me the time so the watch is now in the drawer. The external buttons means you can cancel a call without opening the unit. This unit has been designed for those more elderly users. The text display is large and "ticker tapes" large amounts of information onto the screen, therefore I do not need my +2 reading glasses to use this phone. A BIG BENEFIT. The two slots for SIM cards are for 2G and 3G cards only. The blue tooth works well with my car system for hands free use, however I have to accept the coupling question each time I connect it.(hence 4 stars). You also have to buy a micro sd card (hence 4 stars) if you want to use the camera. The charging dock is another bonus eliminating having to fiddle with micro usb connectors and my reading glasses (it does have one for when not in the cradle). I have not tried the internet on the unit because if I want to do that then I would continue to use a smartphone with the apps.A full charge seems to last 2-3 days depending upon bluetooth usage. For a £60 phone it is great value, but if you are addicted to a smartphone apps its not for you. It has the usual selection of its own apps such as note taker, calculator, music. picture editor.TORCH, and if you are worried about your health, a SOS button which will communicate to three people your emergency on the long press of its dedicated button. The documentation with the unit is poor and the website it directs you to is also poor (hence 4 stars).

Large numbers, phone still looks compact when closed.
Bought this for a elderly relative, a gentleman with big fingers. He thought it was excellent especially when you can hear the numbers your entering.Purchased a second phone a year later for another elderly relative, to discover the instructionson the phone we’re in Chinese, I found it difficult to find English. Thought it would be easy, a elderlyperson would have great problems.

Will Not Charge
Bought this specifically for the convenience of the charging cradle. Spec looks like it would be perfect for my elderly relative, small size fits in a pocket, but large buttons and SOS button for peace of mind, flip open and close would save accidental dialling. However, cradle connection does not sound right as though the connection is faulty. Occasionally the lights come on briefly, but soon go out and phone will not charge despite many attempts, so am having to return it.

What a brilliant ordinary phone, at a great price.
After having smart phones for a few years and the phones getting bigger and bigger (WHY) I decided to buy this. I do not need the internet when I am out working. Its small and fits in my pocket and on my belt. You open it to answer and close to stop. Great radio with a loud speaker, you do not have to plug in earphones for the radio to work. What a brilliant phone.Would recommend this to anyone wanting a good phone for work. Well done VOCA. Any jobs going at your place???
