This arrived quickly and was in perfect condition. My daughter loves it. It is value for money compared to some of the dolls as this comes with lots of accessories

This is a beautifully designed doll and I love that rather than concentrating on fashion that a profession is being promoted which in this instance is a vet.The doll herself is quite big and I've measured that she is approximately 46cm tall. Her body is soft but her arms, legs and head are made of plastic and so she isn't a cuddly toy style doll and would be a bit too hard to cuddle in bed for example. Her hair is lovely and soft and is styled in two bunches when she arrives. Her eyes open and close however don't fully close as her lashes appear to prevent this and so she looks a little creepy with her eyes half open when lying down although this hasn't bothered my Daughter.She arrives with a vet outfit on consisting of pants, shoes, a white long sleeve top, pink tunic and she even has little knickers. My Daughter loves that her tunic has little paw print, dog, bone and heart designs on it and even has two little pockets.Paloma comes with a stethoscope, pet cone, thermometer, syringe, face mask, otoscope, treat jar and kidney dish. Sadly she doesn't come with the puppy shown on the box or product photo and I think this would have been preferable to perhaps the treat jar and syringe to be honest.A lovely doll and I like that she represents a profession rather than just looking pretty.

We've reviewed a number of Our Generation toys recently, and it would be safe to say that all the pets, horses, cars and accessories hinge on the quality of the dolls. Happily, the dolls are brilliant, if oversized and very expensive.This particular doll, Paloma the vet, is everything we'd want for our daughter - she comes with a relatable outfit, in a real profession, so can be dressed and undressed in roleplay games about going to work. My daughter has always preferred toys that she can relate to - schools, hospitals, play-parks etc. Which makes a vet uniform and accessories ideal.Also, Paloma isn't white and blonde! It's ridiculous that white blonde is the default for so many children's toys. My daughter is white and blonde, but she does NOT lack representation in the toys she plays with. What she needs is to be exposed to the idea that people are different. So it's a bonus for us, but surely every child wants to be able to see themselves represented in their toys, so I know that for a lot of families Paloma would be the first choice.Overall, the quality is high, the accessories are fun, it *is* very expensive and bigger than I'd like, but so is the whole Our Generation set. If this falls in a price range that you can afford, and you have enough room, kids will love these dolls and everything that can be bought to go with them. The vet set, with a puppy and a set of dog accessories, would be everything a child would need to play with happily for months!

It's fantastic to see a doll that's not the typical blonde-hair-blue-eyed stereotype and one that's playing a professional role - not just dressing up or being some sort of fairy princess.=== THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT ===* There are all sorts of accessories and outfits to buy too (including shoes)* There's another vet outfit in turquoise (around £10-20) if you don't like pink or want a change of clothes* There's even an amazing vet clinic set (just under £150!) which comes with all sorts of accessories* It's great to see that this doll is not your typical blonde-haired-blue-eyed version - Paloma has light brown skin and a mass of curly dark brown hair and dark brown eyes, and the name is derived from the Spanish word for dove, so perhaps she is supposed to look Spanish.* There are animals in the collection too - eg horses, various different dog breeds, rabbit - for the vet to practice on* The doll has a squidgy body with plastic arms, body and head attached. That means the doll is pleasant to pick up by her soft middle but has a strong form and the arms and legs can be moved. It's the perfect combination.* The outfit can be removed and the doll dressed in something completely different - she comes with a white long-sleeve tee underneath a pink tunic, pink scrubs trousers (elasticated waist), pink knickers and navy shoes.* There are lots of accessories, from the charming stethoscope around her neck to the light that can be shone in an animal's ear, face mask, thermometer, kidney dish, pet cone, syringe and jar of pet treats=== NIGGLES ===* Most of the outfits are childish - only a handful I could see were for adult occupations (eg one called 'Business class' with a trench coat a suitcase;* This doll is at the top of the Our Generation price range* The doll's hair does look a little different to the picture in the online listing because it is curly and tied back in two bunches* The doll and accessories are extremely well-packaged, making them difficult to remove from the box - this is not a job for a child to do on its own!For sale at the time of writing this review at £49.39.
