This just replaced a permanently installed unit on my boat. It is actually better made than the brand name unit that I had in my opinion. If it is lacking anywhere it might be the wire quality, but its not affecting anything currently and is probably just fine. I did not use the alligator clips so I am not basing anything on them. But over all the unit is heavy duty and functions nicely. I am very happy with it, The quality on this is amazing. Super fast for charging the boat battery. The size is great not too big so pretty easy to mount and hide. Definitely worth the amount of money. 10 out of 10 for recommending.

Wow. This charger is very heavy duty and appears to be very well made. This is probably the only 5 star review that I have given. The unit is very solid unlike most of the garage sold here. This company did not skimp on water proofing, clamps, cables, connectors, packaging, ect. I can't believe that it's half of the price of the alternative popular one out there. Time will tell. I will modify review if it doesn't hold up well over the next 12 months.

This charger fits well in my rear storage compartment. It has easy to read lights that gradually change as the battery's charge. Cables were extra long ...so could be placed any where. Bought for lithium batteries.
