Perfect for kids who like to build
My 6 year old son has absolutely loved constructing different vehicles and robots from this building set. It took him a minute to figure out how to connect the pieces and read the instructions. But since then he has been able to build them independently and will sit and work on them for hours. The pieces are made from decent quality plastic and they fit together really well.

I Love Toys Like This & So Do My Grandkids
This robot stem building educational toy comes as a transformer that you can make into several difference rescuers . It is for ages five and up, but there are seven different possibilities for what you’re building, so this is something that we will do together.I love these hands on toys that you can build with your child or grandchild. Then not only do they have a new toy, but they have improved their hand and eye coordination, and, thinking skills. My boys all loved taking things apart and putting them back together, so I know this will be a hit with my grandchildren as well and that my son will enjoy helping him it together.Just so you know, this review is from an impartial opinion. Amazon sent this product to me to review, so you know this is an unbiased review.I believe if you get this, you will not be disappointed, it is pretty straightforward and exactly as it is posted.👉Disclaimer-My review is part of the Vine program on Amazon. They chose us to give our honest opinions/reviews in exchange for products at a reduced price. I have to pay taxes on the items, so they are not completely free. Here is my personal rating system:🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Five Stars - If I absolutely love the product and it exceeds my expectation, I will actively suggest the product to the people I influence and would purchase it again myself as needed.🌟🌟🌟🌟 Four Stars - I really like the product and it does what the seller claims it would do. I would more than likely recommend it to someone if I knew they were looking for that product.🌟🌟🌟 Three Stars - The product is standard, and for the most part does exactly what they say it does, but I would specify any differences. There may be things about a three star rating that I don’t like about the product. If I knew someone were looking for that specific item and I recommend it to them, I would also share with them the reservations that I have.⭐️⭐️ Two Stars - I take low ratings seriously. I also take seriously issues with products after you have spent good money on them. In this case, I would probably never recommend anything that I would rate two stars on, in fact, I would probably tell people so they would shy away from it.⭐️ One Star - it would take some serious issues to get a one star review for me. A bad product and bad customer service would do it though.I take pride in giving honest reviews & hope this review is helpful to you! 🤗

Easy to Assemble
I found this to be an entertaining building kit that was easy to assemble and was designed well by the manufacturer. The overall kit was engineered well and I did not observe and problems with defective pieces. The coloration of the blocks was perfect and the assembly process proceeded smoothly with the assistance of the well-put-together instructional booklet. Overall, this was a great STEM kit to work with.

A quite nice "copy" of the Meccano Jr. set type, but with couple small issues
This is the third set I've gotten of this type "copy" of the late (?) Meccano Jr. type sets. It's also perfectly compatible with some of my older M. Jr. ones on the shelf in my collection. I find this basically a very nice set, quite well made, (all sets I've gotten were branded differently, but I'm pretty sure the source is the same, all from China) and a direct copy pretty much, part by part of the last Meccano Jr. sets I've seen that were made by SpinMaster, the Canadian company that now owns Meccano.I like the fact that this set came with a nice plastic carrying case, as well as a motor. The manual was pretty much as expected, same step by step plans without reading as in most of todays kits. I put together one of the models in the book, and did find a couple of issues with the set that were probably due to hasty changes and poor proofing of the completed set/manual. The model called for two parts that weren't in the set! (Pictured in one of the pics). There were NO obtuse angle brackets; but there were some other unused parts that I could substitute for them, and the model got built. But this isn't really kocher in my opinion for young folks, and could cause issues.Once built the model traveled at a snail's pace, due to the motor's much geared down ratio; but the motor has decent power because of it. (Kinda weird, as most old Meccano models traveled so fast because of WAY too little gearing down, with no power!) Oddly, the motor would be best served for a crane or something that needs power and slow speed, but most models featured were kinda roller-skate looking cars or such. And there's no way to change to speed of the motor. My one other issue that I see with this set is that in the battery box (which needs 2AA batteries) is there are threaded holes in the side that appear that might interfere or mess up the box/wiring if one was to screw a bolt in too far. I didn't want to mess it up so didn't test it to destruction, but seems that could be an issue for some child. I liked the geared down motor, and the fact that it had a connector that wasn't fixed so you could easily incorporate it into other models. Both battery box and motor had short dual wires attached with a middle connector to mate up.I do recommend this set, for the same use as the other Meccano Jr. copy sets I've reviewed, and with the addition of the motor, more parts and a small case it's a perfect starter set or addon for large models. The GOOD: Perfectly compatible with older Meccano Jr. setsWell made quality partsNice step by step manualHeavy duty, large parts for use by small engineersThe IFFY: One model calls for parts not included, (but there are substitutes available)Battery box wires seem to extend into threaded hole, could cause problems if threaded too farMotor kinda slow for most of the models pictured, but might be fine with the child as it goes with some power albeit S-L-O-WThe BAD: Nothing really at all, it's a good value for the parts of this genre
