I have only had it work properly one time. The rest of the time it seems as though there is not enough water in there and I have to put it sideways for the sand to crawl down the side. It also isn't a slow calming dribble either-it's usually a rush of sand to the bottom. While it is fun to watch, it is all made of plastic so it also feels cheap. My mother and father had one over there bed when I was a child and the nostalgia of that made me want to get this one, but it's not the same and rather disappointing.
