The sound is absolutely INCREDIBLE! I don’t think it could be better. Especially for open ear, but I would put these pu against my Apple airpods also.I splurged on the BOSE Ultra open ear because having things in my ears is very uncomfortable and sometimes a little painful for me. I also wanted something that didn’t go over my ear because I wear glasses. The Bose are a little strange for me, hanging on the ear lobe, and they do look sort of like earrings.The sound on the Beyerdynamic is at least as good as the BOSE.Here is where I am struggling with the review. And I don’t want this to dissuade you. We are all different. But I had a few small issues:• A little hard to get out of the case until you figure out how to push and grab. Then fine.• They are mostly comfortable, but my left ear one seems at a slight angle. I don’t feel it but can see it. Not a big deal (though I did mention it )• The tapping for the controls was very difficult for me and was inconsistent. I can also never get the water to turn on using the sensor in a public restroom either, so it could be me, but if I tap twice, which should skip to the next track, it starts the current song over. If I simply brush my finger over the side, like if trying to adjust them on my ear, it pauses the music. It takes a bit of getting used to and seems for me, more of a touch than a tap.

I wear glasses so when I first wore these for an extended period of time they started to strain my ears because of the earbuds were bending a little too uncomfortably. When I took them off however, it changed completely and I could wear them easily without any discomfort. I fiddled with them a lot while they’re on my ears because I’m not used to open earbuds, considering these are my first pair. But for a first pair I have no complaints. Connection was easy, the app is simple and everything works as intended, very good battery life, and once you find the sweet spot on your ears for comfortability and sound, these do sound great. Bass you can feel not in your ears, but around them. The bass does dim the highs if it’s too strong but that’s expected. great spacious sound and great detail retrieval too. I can hear where all the instruments are playing and I like to pinpoint them. So overall, a 9/10 experience so far for the first few days.

beyerdynamic Verio 200 Open True Wireless Earphones (Black)I ordered this German made Open True Wireless Earphone on July 7th, did not arrive until July 31st, thought it had been lost during transit because I kept receiving push back notifications, shipped via USPS, finally arrived and left in our mailbox, Amazon packaging arrived pretty beat up, likewise retail box was a little beat up, should have been better protected for an item so expensive, but earphones were intact and undamaged.I find earbuds to be uncomfortable, have purchased and tried a half dozen of them, much prefer traditional headphones which unfortunately are not sensible when working outside doing yard work. I am not an audiophile, not even close, but I do enjoy listening to music when its reproduction is as close as possible to the original version (because I was a musician and later worked in the industry), so I am aware that specific German companies have reputations for superior products, so I jumped at the opportunity in obtaining these earphones.The fit and finish is excellent, had/have no issues with wearing these “open true” earphones, are way more comfortable than earbuds. The sound reproduction is excellent, highs and mids are spot on, was impressed with the bass reproduction (in fact had to dial it back a little), instructions are easy to understand, charging container is beautiful and sturdy. I don’t wear earbuds or headphones for hours at a time (except before I retired) so battery life is more then sufficient, so will just use them until I receive the low battery tone then will charge (to prolong the rechargeable battery), would be nice if that battery were replaceable but am thinking it can be sent back when/if the battery reaches useful lifespan.The suggested MSRP is pricey but the pricing is consistent with most German made audio-phonic equipment, do believe Audiophiles will jump at the opportunity in purchasing this open true wireless earphones and in fact will feel they are getting a deal because these are quality outside (non earbuds) earphones that one can wear and enjoy quality sound reproduction while still being able to safely hear what is happening around you. Now days it is dangerous to be totally tuned out to the environment, especially when out and about or operating a vehicle. I am happily giving these earphones a 5 Star rating. My only disappointment is it took so long to arrive.
