Directv Folding Portable Satellite Dish Rv Tripod Kit - Refurbished

As advertised. I would definitely pay attention to how this thing is packed. Took me an hour to get it back in the damn case. I now have a picture on my phone to show my exactly how to repack it. That being said.. It packs very nicely in it's case and it very convenient for storage. Set up is easy. There was a small issue with assembly the 2 halves did not come together precisely. There's an i bolt that pulls the sided together in the back. I had to get a slightly longer one from Ace Hardware. It cost me $ 0.68. Works great for SD Direct TV. which is all I need for my camper. I'm a happy camper!!!.... see what I did there?

I saw the reviews on this item and was a bit leary of it, but wanted an inexpensive portable dish system. Item came as described, just be careful unpacking it so that the LMB is not damaged. We hooked it up to our TV at home where the equipment was already installed and we had a pretty good idea of where the dish should point. Worked perfectly. Took to campground, unpacked, seemed that equipment was searching for satellite signal. Had to call DTV, call got disconnected, but as I was calling back, TV started working. We watched satellite all weekend. I would suggest that you make sure that dish is anchored as ours blew over during a high wind across the lake. I am very pleased with my purchase as it is very portable and if you are familiar with installation of satellite equipment, you should be fine.

Didn't work. Directv tech tried, mech engr tried, would not work. Return was a NIGHTMARE

Worked out all the bugs and had it working last winter. Now I can't get it work work. Been really touchy and falls over easy in wind if you don't have it staked down. Worked great, now it doesn't.

The product appeared to meet the need and was complete as described. I was unable to get the system to work. Returning the product was quick and easy. My final cost was paying for shipping both ways.

For a non-auto satellite finder Directv dish it works quite well, is easy to set up and store. Signal meter isn't the best but is functional.

Just received the system, shipping was quick. The case seems well built. I set it up for my trailer, I didn't follow the directions for pointing the dish since I had an idea of where to point it, just listen to the signal beep to tune it in. The assembly of the unit went smooth. Everything you need is in the kit. Don't know about the neg. reviews but that was not my case. Very happy I bought this kit and would highly recommend this product.

I was very disappointed with the quality of this product. It is, essentially, a piece of junk.
