This camera is excellent as are all the ezviz cameras I have (5 in total). I wanted an all in one solution and this does exactly that. With the built in solar panel it keeps the batter topped up without have to have a separate solar panel connected to to. The picture quality in the day is excellent. Night time images are also very good. Just make sure you point the camera away from. The wall it's mounted otherwise the glare back from the spots messes with the image and you end up with a area of shadow that you can't see. I also found in my situation having the brightness of the spots at about 50% gave a better night image then having them at 100%. Plenty of setting with in the camera to setup for your on preferences, sensitivity, area detection etc. You can also set this up for continuous recording but I would recommend somewhere with direct sun light for this.

🤷🏼Had it 24 hours. Played with every aspect thoroughly for a full day testing everything. It doesn’t even detect me driving up the street and parking on my drive. Shocking. The latency on this camera set up is around 4 seconds . I can sit in front of the camera with it sat in my lounge 3 feet from my Wi-Fi hub, I have superfast Wi-Fi but yet when I move my arm I can count to 4 before it moves on my phone..When you play back a video it doesn’t play smooth. Very jerky. when you set a zone for it to protect it is fantastic. However, it didn’t take a video because by the time it detected me and I had moved , there was nothing for it to take photo of. That is how bad the latency is 😩. You could walk up my drive, smash my car window and steal anything and then walk away before the camera even wakes up. I have a feeling this 4k camera is about to be returned.🤦🏻

Once again Ezviz have come out with an excellent value for money product. Positives: Excellent battery life as solar panel does a good job of keeping battery topped up, even in high traffic areas such as our driveway. Picture quality is superb. Negatives: need to purchase a separate micro sd card for recording. Smart detection is a touch over sensitive in human detection mode, doves or pigeons will set it off.

This is a shame. The camera is is fantastic, daylight image is sharp and has a good wide angle. Nighttime footage is average and hammers the battery. The solar panel on top doesn't seem to have enough power to keep the inbuilt battery topped up. I find that the battery only lasts about 30-40 days and it needs plugging in to recharge. Installation is a breeze, you just need a drill and screwdriver and about 15 minutes of time. Using the camera through the app is easy to use and set up and review the camera and footage.

I am completely satisfied with this camera. I bought it after reading positive reviews online, including on YouTube. I would definitely recommend this camera. While it may be more expensive than others, in my humble opinion, the footage quality is excellent and the camera itself is robust and solid. This is my 4th camera of same type

Bought Feb 25 and worked well, however now Dec 25 and randomly needs resetting as it keeps going off line, very annoying.

When it's ok, it's good and quality is great. But ... keeps dropping from the network, goes offline, sulks. Sometimes the charging is rubbish, especially on grey days. Giving it 3 stars but not really happy at that as can't give 2.5. I do like the ease of accessing things by time from the card unlike IEGeek's, which is ghastly. (Refuse to use cloud because of the price.)
