I'm absolutely in love with this belt. I'm glad I chose the version with the black belt buckle. It just looks freaking amazing! I love ratchet belts and have owned a couple of them already. I also love this twill design on the actual belt. I was a little torn on whether to go with the 28 in to 34-in waist version or the 32-in to 38-in version. I am a 33-in waste and I went with the 32 to 38 version. That is perfect and has enough left over to go into the belt loop. However, I am on a diet and if I lose another inch around the belly. And it will probably be a little too long. For now it's good, but when I lose the weight I may may purchase this in the smaller size. The belt looks amazing on and I couldn't be happier with it. This is the nicest ratchet belt that I've ever owned. I absolutely love it and definitely recommend it.

I recently found out about ratchet belts and they are a game changer!This belt is very nice quality. The quick release function is much easier to use than my other ratchet belt. Just lift the buckle to release the ratchet and pull the belt. Very easy to use.Changing the length is easy too. Just cut the length down a bit and clamp the belt back in.Overall, I'm very pleased with this!

Great belt for the price ($10). Comes in a nice box, securely contained - very giftable. For the price, the quality is okay. Definitely not a top of the line leather belt, but I'm sure to get some use out of it. Will update with how it holds up.My wife bought my son a ratchet belt and it was such a cool belt that I wanted one for myself. The first thing that wears out in my belts are the holes - they stretch and warp and sometimes tear. This ratchet contraption might make my belts last longer.PROS:+ giftable - comes in nice box+ ratchet mechanism is very cool - holds securely and cuts down on belt wear & tear+ good quality for the price ($10)CONS:- odd smelling - maybe like burned plastic?

I got this for my brother as part of his Father's Day gift because he also needs a belt, and like to dress up his casual look on the daily. The belt is very sturdy and durable, and the adjustable buckle is great and convenient. He loves it. It is a steal!

If you've never tried a ratchet belt, you should! Unlike regular belts, ratchet belts are easily adjustable to within a quarter inch. So, you can have the most comfortable fit for a belt, and if you eat too much, you can give yourself a little extra space. But all kidding aside, I've really come to like these belts. And I've been looking for a brown one (I already have 2 black ones) and finally found one. It arrived quickly and came with instructions on how to shorten it (I didn't need them because I've done it before, and it took me about 2 minutes). Great belt!

Ultimately, this is just a belt, and the real verdict is whether it holds my pants up. Spoiler alert--it does. But there are a couple things that make this stand out in a crowded field of leather ratchet belts. One is that the leather is textured (it's called "twill" in the product description) rather than glossy, and it looks very nice, especially with more casual pants like jeans. Also, unlike every ratchet buckle I've used (and I've used several), this one is "see-through", meaning you can see the belt inside the buckle, making it look much more like a standard tongue-in-hole buckle while still maintaining the functionality of a true ratchet belt. A winner all around. Very satisfied.

I got this last week and did the cut/assembly yesterday and it was much easier than anticipated. Measure, cut, put the leather in the buckle and secure....took me all of 5 minutes to do. The ratchet buckle is different and takes a little getting used to but works well and overall is easy as well.

The BOSTANTEN Mens Belt Leather Ratchet 1 3/8'' Belt is unusual. The buckle is what makes this. Look at it and it's nearly black. Catch it in the light another way and it looks almost silver. It's almost like it's blued metal. The buckle is very good quality.The belt looks nice but I have my doubts that it's real leather. It doesn't have that leather smell. It doesn't have leather stamped on it anywhere and the feel is a little too limber to be leather. I think it's PU material.
