Fun, affordable, subwoofer amp built in!
This is a fun little Amp! I set it up for Dad as a soundbar replacement and to use with a Bluetooth turntable. We had tried a cheaper BT amp with a remote, but the volume control was spotty and he didn't like that. This one works fantastic, though. Setting up tone controls and navigating menus is a little clunky, but you don't have to do that often. It sounds really good! I haven't compared it to any of my higher end gear in an A-B comparison, but it holds its own with decent speakers. It has a multitude of digital inputs. Bluetooth connects quickly and easily. Remote works well. I like that it has a sub output with switchable and adjustable crossovers, both LPF and HPF so you can really dial it in. We're not utilizing it right now, but I'm tempted to buy one just so I can play with it and a passive sub! The display, although small, is enough to clue you in to what you're doing. It's better than a lot of this type of amp that have no display at all.

This is a win for tv speaker setup!
Good little amp. Bought to drive my bookshelves and small sub for my tv. Works with arc perfectly, and has plenty of inputs. Booth works easily and the eq, tone controls, and low/high pass filters are helpful for tuning! Provides plenty of power to my 6 ohm speakers and is crystal clear. Can’t beleive how small it is! This is a win! Update - could not get my subwoofer to work as it’s not passive. Disappointing. Not sure why they chose to use speaker level inputs like that instead of just having an RCA sub out. Just be careful with what sub you use - mine doesn’t have high level output so this amp won’t work out after all.

TV 2.1, skip the Arylic
Skip the Arylic and buy this! Worked for me. HDMI arc, out of the box, plugged in, set Hisense TV audio output to arc and PCM or something, TV speakers off. Done. Only had it for a day but it works great sounds great. Running this to power 2 dayton audio b40s. Simple and small, sounds waaaaaaayy better than the TV speaks. Will add a sub later. The Arylic seemed nice but the HDMI arc did not work, the audio was at 100 and you could barely hear it.

Fantastic little device!
This works perfectly for our very specific and peculiar need. Connects via Bluetooth automatically and HDMI works flawlessly as well. Have not tried optical. Would highly recommend.

Buggy little device
I've owned this unit for 6mo and Its ok. Pretty good sound for the price, but a lot of minor issues. I am running into the problem where the device doesnt repond to power down, setting change, or respond when external input is applied. I need to frequently unplug the DC barrel jack to reset it and have not received a response from support team. Power button no longer works and need to restart everytime now to get sound to come out of the amp. Do not recommend this product.

Great Features, but Major Subwoofer Output Issues
I've been using the SMSL A50 Pro in my DIY soundbar build, and while there’s a lot to like, there’s also a major drawback that holds it back from being a full recommendation. The positives: HDMI ARC support is fantastic — it lets me control the amp and TV volume with a single remote. The customizable crossover settings are a great feature for integrating L/R speakers with a subwoofer. Sound quality on the L/R channels is clean, detailed, a bit harsh with my build but the EQ settings let me fix that. The Negatives: The subwoofer output is a major disappointment. Even with bass boost on and the subwoofer level maxed out, the A50 Pro struggles to deliver enough power. I designed my passive radiator subwoofer to reach full excursion at around 40W, but this amp can't get it there — even after upgrading to a 220W aftermarket power supply. For comparison, my Fosi BT30D (also rated at 100W sub output) easily drives the same sub to full performance, showing that the limitation is clearly in the SMSL’s subwoofer amp design, not my speaker setup. Given that one-third of the amp’s purpose (the subwoofer channel) doesn’t perform as advertised, I’m giving it 3 stars. It’s still a solid product for L/R duty with a powered subwoofer, but if you're planning to drive a passive subwoofer, you’ll likely be disappointed.

Amazing Sound on a Budget - Beats Any Soundbar!
We were looking to improve the audio from the TV at my parents' house, but wanted to do it on a budget. A full-fledged AV receiver was out of the question, so we aimed for a simple 2-channel system with ARC connectivity. This S.M.S.L A50 PRO HiFi Power Amplifier turned out to be the perfect solution! Combined with a pair of bookshelf speakers from Costco (just $99!), and this amplifier (around $90), we created a system that blows away any TV's built-in speakers. Honestly, this setup is cheaper and sounds significantly better than most soundbars on the market. The ARC connection works flawlessly. My parents can control the volume directly with their TV remote, so they never even have to touch the amplifier's remote. It's incredibly convenient. While the amplifier has other features like Bluetooth connectivity, my parents primarily use it with the TV. They essentially use the TV as a "poor man's AV receiver" and the S.M.S.L. A50 PRO to power their Klipsch KD-50 speakers. This setup works beautifully. If you're looking for a cost-effective way to drastically improve your TV audio, I highly recommend this amplifier. It delivers amazing sound quality without breaking the bank.

Kolejny minus to regulacja bass treble. Nie działa ona tak jak niezależna korekcja niskich i wysokich tonów, a raczej jako "wilk eq", a więc kiedy dodajemy treble - znika bas, kiedy dodajemy basu - znika góra. Najlepiej zostawić te ustawienia na zero. Pomijając wady sprzęt brzmi całkiem dobrze i nie brakuje mu mocy we współpracy z głośnikami stereo. Plusem jest wejście HDMI eArc do podłączenia TV. U mnie to działa.

Very well constructed for the price and compact as well, I was using a digital amp with analogue controls, this amp is digital all the way with the very intuitive single rotary encoder knob and the three digit display. Once you get to know the different display menu modes, tweaking with just the front knob is a breeze. The various eq modes, bass, treble, tone presents, high and low pass filters and subwoofer volume are quite subtle to my recollection but it's well worth spending a bit of time tweaking them to your tastes as the amp has virtually no problems filling my listening room with a very balanced 3d stereo image soundstage whether using the excellent bluetooth receiver or the optical in. I have very little use for the usb dac in, 3.5mm jack in and the HDMI ARC, I have a 200 cd changer, media streamer and a linear tracking turntable connected to an Arylic BP50 preamp feeding the S.M.S.L. via an optical cable . Then out of the stereo L & R and subwoofer outputs to a pair of Wharfedale Modus Cubes and a matching pair of Mission 73ps passive subwoofers. The remote control is a nice addition and it seems to work well but my room is so small I can just reach over to the amp and use the rotary controller. I bought this amp because it had a passive sub output and an optical in - these and everything else works flawlessly - a great little modern amp for a bargain price.
