I love it
I've owned an Oculus rift CV2, Quest 2, and now the Quest 3. I bought this to get the best wireless, consumer grade, game and experience orientated VR headset on the market and I would say it delivers. I personally never have any issues wearing VR headsets, such as motion sickness or fatigue and still have no issues with this. The display is crisp, adjustable, and relatively seamless. The display inside isn't so large that anywhere my eyes land, I see screen, but if you're looking forward for the most part it's pretty immersive still. The controllers are easy to hold, easy to use, and just like all the other generations, feel relatively intuitive in virtual reality. Meta did away with the tracker rings on the controllers, which I thought were actually to protect hands from hitting objects, but apparently not. Regardless, they are smaller. I pretty much have no complaints. The pass-through camera which is now way higher resolution and full color, allows for pretty easy augmented reality experiences and real world navigation without lifting up the headset. Most VR games aren't too large in size so 512 gigs is ample storage for even a hardcore VR collector. I don't really have any complaints about fit and comfort. I don't wear glasses and I am appropriate head size for somebody 5'6". Like many things, battery always is more to be desired. I'll say it's perfectly fine, but for any longer sessions, you may run into a dying headset. With the right cable or aftermarket wearable battery, this isn't a problem. There are certainly trade-offs I'm sure Meta considered when choosing battery size and it's fine. I definitely don't regret buying this and Hope VR technology comes far enough that more people can enjoy its experiences without motion sickness and whatnot.

Not damaged at all, it's essentially new
The package looked to be completely sealed from wherever it came, the quality of this referbashed item was excellent no smoke, no dust, no smudges and no scratches. They used the wrong size of lends protectors, they used the ones made for the quest 2 lmk if I'm wrong but the size difference was real by 6mm, Since I don't like to spend a lot of money this was slightly and nearly perfect for me, sure the price was still up there but it wasn't 500. Now time for the review of the actual product aside from the quality of Amazon's ability to not damaged my products. The first software update took 2 hours (my internet sucks because I live in a place called "tongue point job corps" and it's sign in wifi) I had major issues connecting the quest 3 to the app, it turns out I needed to enable my location in my phone's settings, that took 3 hours of searching to find out. Build quality: the arms for the headstrap are flimsy and feel like they would definitely break if you where to drop it wrong other than that the rest of it is tuff except for the cameras those may be glass and fragile, there is silicon which goes around the lens ig that makes it easy to clean? experience: absolutely amazing, never tried good AR before and it was crazy to watch the walls be torn away by shooting them with a “fake” blaster, the camera quality is like watching VHS horror shorts on tik Tok but with astigmatisms I guess because of the IR line projector it makes things pop more or something but camera quality is not anything special just imagine the best picture you've ever seen but very grainy and not very colorful mostly the main colors stand out. setup: very not epic, like I said the update took 2 hours ofc on 5mbps internet, couldn't skip setting up an avatar for meta, there is almost no troubleshooting forms for my specific problem also it doesn't let me sign onto the sign in internet and it kept disconnecting from my PCs hotspot but that's the PCs fault. Conclusion: this is a very powerful spacial computer device but it's overpriced as a new unit, I would highly recommend this to anyone with a budget of $370. however I am deeply disappointed that I couldn't get this unit for free because that would have been totally epic 😢. TLDR: not damaged, good quality, great price, you should get it.

Has amazing features, games! (Caution, not a tool to distract your kids)
Purchased for VRChat and not regretting it. It has ALOT of capabilities, which are fairly insuitive and sensible to use. This device is more or less based on a Smartphone and has similar features. Wifi, Bluetooth, casting and streaming, a VERY cool VR browser running Chromium (but fairly stripped down of options... which makes sense; its running android and therefor linux. The BASE headstrap is reasonably comfortable BUT over time, say plus an hour, will pester your brow and cheeks. Sack up a BoboVr, KiwDesign, or other well rated battery strap if you feel up for long sessions. The weight is a bit frontwise of the face and said straps will balance much better on the head. VRChat is a wonderful app, but may consider PCVR soon as not all options available. Regardless its the perfect *icebreaker for my socisl anxiety and has helped me climb past some barriers ive been having socializing. CAUTION TO NEGLECTFUL PARENTS: Be aware this is NOT another upgrade tool for absentee parenting. It WILL worsen screen addiction and make your kid pick up bad habits as with any other social media if you dont teach your kids better to begin with... ask me how i know. VRchat for my example has some rooms flooded with trashy mouthed little kids and teens and would-be-thug'lets in diapers whos parents need the spankings. Adults have common sense most times developed, but without arming your children with good etequette and sense, a brattier little gremlin can come out of your headset. As Denzel Washington said in graduation speeches, If a kid doesnt find their parent in the home they will find them in the street.

Meta Quest 3: Worth Every Penny
The Meta Quest 3 512GB has been an outstanding addition to my tech collection. Over time, I’ve been able to fully appreciate the upgrade in performance and storage compared to older models. The extra space means I don’t have to constantly delete apps or games, and the graphics still look sharp and immersive every time I use it. One of the things I’ve really valued is the comfort and design. Even after many sessions, the headset remains lightweight and easy to wear, and the controllers continue to feel responsive and precise. It has held up very well with frequent use, which shows the quality of the build. Overall, this device has given me hours of entertainment, whether playing games, watching movies, or trying out new VR experiences. It continues to perform like new, and I can honestly say it was a great investment. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a reliable and powerful VR headset.

leses are better, headse froze a few times
The headset froze a few times, and not even long presses of the On/Off button would shut it down. Very Strange. It even happend a few times, I returned it in frustration. Here's my 4 point summary of the Quest 3, (I had the Quest 2, Oculus Go, and briefly tried the HTC focus Vision, before returning it) 1) The Quest 3 is beautiful, with super nice pancake lenses, and the price is unbeatable. (HTC tried to compete but fell flat on their face for 3x the cost) AR function is decent, that color passthrough is cool. 2) The headset is a little narrower than quest 2, so the headgasket and head strap need to be replaced if you're an adult. It was putting too much pressure on my temples. 3) The software is another story. While the Meta ecosystem is full of apps, and plenty of free stuff, I was surprised when the headset froze a few times, and not even a long press of the On/Off button would reset it. There is nothing to do, just let it sit and discharge. Quite unacceptable. 4) Here's the big one: The Meta corp like to know too much about you, so if you're a private person, don't even mess with the Quest headsets and Meta ecosystem. If your kids get on your headset they spy and will determine a child is using it and will lock you're account untill you "PROVE" you're an adult, by demanding 1) a Credit card, and/or 2) taking a photo of your driver license .... what??? No way! That's insane, never put your personal information online, certainly to a company like Meta. I abondoned facebook long ago, and I will not give them any of my private information, they are on the wrong path in my opinion. Comprimised to the core, gattering and selling intel on the citizenry to big brother, like the communists and dictatorships do, I think they sold their soul to you know who. But technology is fun, try it for yourself, you might not care about privacy.

Meta Quest 3 Renewed - Great Purchase
I bought this “Renewed” from the Amazon store to save $50, which, as we all know, can sometimes be a crapshoot when it comes to electronic devices. That being said, I LOVE it. I’ve had it about 3 months now, and it works incredibly well. I had been eyeballing larger TVs because I’m a gamer (Xbox) and I wanted something bigger than my 55” TV that I currently have. There’s no need now with this headset. I can connect to either cloud gaming through Xbox (must have their ultimate or premium game pass subscription) or I can directly stream from my Xbox if I’m near it. It sometimes get lag spikes using these methods, but not enough to bother me, and I get to play games on a massive screen now. They also have amazing apps to watch movies (like Bigscreen) that I’ve used to watch my Sunday Ticket on a movie theater sized screen. I can update this review after I’ve had it longer to report on the durability, but I’ve used the heck out of it these first three months and no problems whatsoever. I’m a teacher, so I might even incorporate some kind of VR activities for individual students. This thing is amazing. I’ve never tried the Meta Quest competitors, but I’m extremely happy with this purchase!!! Maybe one of the only negatives is that the battery life is kind of short, but I typically use it on my family room couch that has a middle compartment plug in, so I’m right next to a power source. If you would use this away from a power source, there are options for headbands with hot swap batteries or longer power cords than the one provided, which isn’t very long. Resolution is great. My TV is actually kinda old and is an LCD instead of an LED, so the Meta Quest picture is probably better than my TV. The VR apps and games are pretty fun too, and they’re a nice change from typical 2D gaming. Paramount+ doesn’t seem to work with the browser though, which kind of sucks, but every other one seems to work fine. I have Apple TV+, Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime TV, and NFL Sunday Ticket through YouTube, and all those work VERY well. Set up was easy too and very intuitive. I did buy a new strap for it because the one provided isn’t very comfortable overall, but I got a comfortable one fairly reasonably priced (like $30). Overall, I would absolutely recommend this to anyone interested in VR and I would absolutely buy it again.

Better than expected
Bought for my son for his birthday. Excellent quality and battery life lasts longer than the quest 2. My son will eventually invest in a different head strap but the one that came with it works fine, he is just used to an after market head strap. So far an external battery is not needed because the battery life is so good. I was worried when buying refurbished but this was mint condition! We are all very happy with this item!
